  1. You can keep Harris thank you don’t want him at Ipswich on that average! Think it may be a year to soon for Jack to be a number one, same as it was for Morris and Kurtz, but when you look at it the league only has 2 world class riders in it in Lambert and Doyle
  2. The top riders are signed pretty much. If rumours can be believed Cook is leaving Belle Vue so hopefully we can get him in. A top 5 of Cook, Nicholls , Lawson , Schlien and King, does that fit with Covatti at 6?
  3. Kurtz and Morris both struggled from being an out and out number one. If Morris goes back to Swindon the pressure is taken off by Doyle being there and Morris could thrive Poole need to bring in a big hitter so that Kurtz hasn’t got that pressure again. I think Jack Holder may well go there but again he isn’t that big hitter yet... he benefited from Doyle last year.
  4. Still stunned people would rather have Harris back then say a Batchelor. Harris provides entertainment now and then and motivates but his average is far to high
  5. Is that the same Woryna who spent the vast majority of the season as a reserve? He was also pretty average once in the 1-5
  6. Shanes was unlucky to lose out last season and could easily slot in at number 7. For me Poole need to look the top end. Poole won many matches last season by their reserves totally out scoring the opposition reserves because Woryna/Worrall/Jacobsen were in those positions. Jacobsen will now be the main reserve and Woryna will have to step up markedly in the main body Kurtz is a no brainier and so I think is Klindt Kurtz Klindt Woryna Jacobsen Those are the only 4 riders I can see going back to Poole , Harris is to bigger risk on his inflated average that can only go one way. Can see Jack Holder being back and maybe Batchelor Poole need a big hitting number one but who would come? Poole got lucky winning the league last season and now have to lose points..... could be a tricky winter trying to get it right
  7. I know we don’t know other teams yet but Doyle apart from Lambert is the leagues best rider. No team will have a top 4 as strong I can’t see who would and if they get the bottom end right then they will be bang there Swindon won a much stronger league back in 2017 with those 4 and Bellego as a top 5. Berge for Bellego and this team will be hard to beat
  8. If Swindon get a top 4 of Doyle , Morris , Tobi and Ellis and can keep Zach at reserve then god help the rest of us
  9. Newman reached his level and of anything gone backwards and injuries haven’t helped There can’t be a speedway fan out there who would rather have Newman than Charles Wright
  10. It makes sense to sign Harris from a team morale point of view But it makes no sense to sign him on that average for team building purposes 3 or 4 times last season he failed to even win a race at home. He was average in both the semi and play off finals...........barring one great ride which i think has clouded peoples judgement. Sure he provides entertainment but that doesnt win you the league......................you will never find a more entertaining Poole rider than Mark Loram but he was moved on in favour of the better scoring potential of Rickardsson..........and thats what Poole need to do with Harris, thank him for last season but do the right thing and move him on. Im not sure any club would touch him on that inflated average
  11. Why are you piping up. For what its worth when you have Lisa bringing it up (and yes her along with Bald Bloke brought it up again) then anyone can respond and i think about 7 different people have. yet you choose again to use my name. And please tell me what i need to get over as if you think its Poole winning the title then im actually not bothered. What i want is the integrity of the sport to be upheld and not for the sport to look like a joke. Nick Morris should never have rode....its not rocket science to understand the reasons surely. Kings Lynn were daft to suggest it and of course Poole would take the opportunity to use a rider that they shouldnt have bet they couldnt believe their luck. The final became a farce and lets just hope this season the title is won fairly. Not once have i said it was Pooles fault but the same people love a pop when quite clearly they arent intelligent enough to read what people write. The precedent has been set now for future finals. Poole fans would be up in arms if it happened against them this year
  12. Your definition of a strop is very different to mine but each to their own.
  13. My second lie? Seriously have a read at what I have wrote because clearly you have an issue I BLAMED Kings Lynn for suggesting it not Poole However the powers that be should have told Kings Lynn no..... is that hard for you to understand!
  14. Nobody is disagreeing with you thats whats laughable. So paranoid that everyone is having a dig at Poole. Nick Morris should never have been allowed to ride in the second leg.............its irrelevant who agreed what or who made the choice.............the moment the powers that be allowed Morris to ride it made the whole thing a farce. The fact is there was never a rule that stopped Adam Ellis riding for both clubs in the final....................all it meant was it just made the sport look daft. But by Kings Lynn agreeing it was ok for Morris to ride........and then the joke of a governing body allowing it.............also made the sport look daft as well So bless your heart you can calm down about everyone having a go at Poole because they arent.............the sport was made to look daft yet again. Injuries are part and parcel of the sport and Poole had to beat very weakened teams in the semi final and final....thats not Pooles fault they just got very lucky
  15. I agree that the final would have been a laughing stock to have a rider riding in both legs for different teams...... Much better to have an illegal rider instead and change the rule just for one match!!! Ive never said it’s Pooles fault at all But the final was a farce because of this allowance to let Morris ride
  16. Not what I was asking I was asking if gp riders from last season that didn’t ride over here would now be an 8 average Chris Holder, Piotr Pawlicki and Matej Zagar are the 3 that spring to mind
  17. Won’t Holder be an 8 point rider next season? Missed the uk but rode in the gp’s Or is that another rule that has been changed
  18. As I’ve said Kings Lynn mainly to blame.....doesn’t make it right as the governing body should have not allowed Morris to ride...... all done and dusted and Poole won the league because of other teams injuries misfortune and then using a rider that should never have been allowed to ride......let’s hope next season we have worthy champions not just lucky ones
  19. In 2 matches (one of which he shouldnt have been allowed to ride in) PK, Sundstrom, Saucepan, Shanes and Nielsen all rode in more matches than Morris, blimey even Covatti guested twice maybe he should have gone. As you say maybe a deal has been done as it seems ridiculous to take another teams rider on a jolly up when there are riders more deserving............................maybe its because he is an Aussie
  20. Nothing wrong with the Poole team going away , if thats what the club wants to do so be it. No idea why Nick Morris has gone not even a Poole rider..................what about those riders that were actually Poole riders that contributed to the season a heck of a lot more than Morris..........Kildemand, Sundstrom, Shanes, Nielsen...........surely these guys should have gone and not Morris
  21. Last season if you was in the GP in 2017 and hadn’t ridden here in 2017 you was 8 for 2018 Chris Holder was in the GP in 2018 and didn’t ride over here in 2018, thus making him an 8 for whoever he rides for in the UK If that rule has been dropped then yes he would be 7.16 , if it hasn’t then he has to be an 8. If I’m honest I’ve no idea if the rule is dropped
  22. Harris on that average in a downward spiral would be a risk , crowd pleaser yes, motivator yes, but to high an average Chris Holder on an 8 average as he was a gp rider last season also looks to high
  23. I cant seem to find any worried people on here at all. Just decent Poole fans and fans of other clubs doing what we usually do at this time and have a guess/opinion what each teams 1-7 might be. Riders that certain fans might want back and others dont (quite clearly the Holder brothers divide opinion). Its called an adult debate................as i said cant see any people worrying on here. Check the other teams threads in all leagues , all fans doing the same, guessing the team and voicing an opinion
