  1. wouldn't have expected anything else from craig cook and Edinburgh monarchs number 1 fan. Comical!
  2. so 12 it is then can see this going down to heat 15. We need to hit the Rebels hard early on big 5-1 in heat 1 to set the tone and not to lose a heat advantage in heat 2 would be an ideal start IMO.
  3. thank god cookie and Sam decided to show up otherwise there wouldn't be any point in tomorrow. Really needed a big night from Max as he was partnering a reserve in the majority of his rides. Seemed like Justin had a stinker at the worst possible time and the reserves done as expected. R/R for Worrall didn't exactly help either mind you only got 2 points from his rides. So all to play for tomorrow can see this going down to heat 15.
  4. So the decider to lift the trophy. All will become clearer when after the first league to see who will be in the driving seat for this deciding leg. Neither team will be at full strength due to injures. Edinburgh will be missing Stevie Worrall and R/R will be used his rides may be taken by the reserves, Max and Justin. For the Visitors they will have Aaron Summers in at number 1 in place of Oliver Allen and will also be using R/R for Brady Kurtz, his rides can be taken by the the reserves, Charles Wright, Pontus Aspgren and Nick Morris. Teams for Saturday: Edinburgh Craig Cook Justin Sedgmen Max Fricke Steve Worrall R/R Sam Masters Aaron Fox Derek Sneddon Somerset Aaron Summers (G) Brady Kurtz R/R Charles Wright Pontus Aspgren Nick Morris Todd Kurtz Paul Starke
  5. Both teams using r/r is advantage Somerset makes them stronger around Armadale as Kurtz was woeful in the league meeting
  6. Yes i know we have lucky with injuries this season compared to other teams but thats not what i meant. I'm talking more play-off final time last year Tabaka during the final this year Stevie just before the final.
  7. If Worrall wrist is bad then thats game over for us. Same as last year an injury costing us the title.
  8. all it says on the website is that it's off due to the weather. having the dinner dance last night as well might have something to do with it could have had a few Darcy Wards on show for the tigs.
  9. this is what i think. Allen won't 3 again and i'm sure Morris, Aspgren, Wright and one of the reserves will score more than a point.
  10. Honestly think Somerset will win this Allen won't be as bad as he was the last time he was at the Dale and Kurtz out makes them a lot stronger around our place as well as everyoe gets a ride apart form Allen.
  11. Result not really a surprise never came out of second gear all night. I'm sure if the match wasn't a pointless one the score would have been on the other way around. Simon Lambert scored 14 out of a possible 15 says it all really.
  12. Another trophy in the cabinet. Easy victory in the end after a slow start. thought heeps was very impressive fast out of the gate and had the speed to match that after as well.
  13. Even with Jacobs in for the skipper. Cookie, sedgmen, Sam and max will hit 40 between the 4 of them anyway
  14. Another 2nd leg final but this time in the Knock out cup. Not much different to last week really with the boys in blue & gold doing all the hard work by winning the first leg by 16 points. Edinburgh will await a morning report from the skipper to make sure he will be okay and probably run R/R for Worrall. The visitors might be using R/R for Manzares who withdrew tonight from the meeting and might need a guest if Hawkins incase pi hecks up the horrible borders fever tomorrow morning. Edinburgh Craig Cook Justin Sedgmen Ma Fricke Stevie Worrall R/R Sam Masters Aaron Fox Derek Sneddon Ipswich RohanTungate Cameron Heeps Morten Risager Gino Manzares Ritchie Worrall Ritchie Hawkins Adam Ellis
  15. Superb performance from the top 4. Cookie has really picked it up over the last couple of weeks as well. 2 down now onto the big one.
  16. We needed the reserves to score some points away from home. with Steve missing we need them to step up big time tonight if we want to go through
