  1. off subject but just found out also the riders that paid over £130 for their licences last year without putting a leg over their bikes have now got to do the same this year not even a discount shocking from the scb what if it ends up not going ahead this year it’s hard times for everybody not just the governing body
  2. is it not part of the council rules for using the stadium that the nl has to run at belle vue
  3. don’t forget also they are on a island and with covid maybe still around they might be thinking of the people there with people also coming from all over the country don’t know if the council would have any say in this
  4. Only problem would be if he gets a fall durning the meeting and they need a rider to cover not many local to call on as rr would make them very weak
  5. what ave would gary flint come in on sure he though about it a few years back lol
  6. they only have 17.5 pts for 5 riders as leon and kyle announced already
  7. all riders really need to start at reserve to give them confidence with racing riders of the same 3 point caliber getting a couple of points in your first heats makes a lot of difference to the head and the rest of the meeting we have mostly rode at number 2 last few years but managed to creep over the 3 point ave once to 3.5 ,being in ht 1 is a hard one with a couple of heat leaders so your struggling for that 1 point usually and end up only getting 3 rides because the reserve is banging in points when we dropped to reserve we did 3 meetings won the reserve race in the 3 meetings plus a few more points as you get a couple races against the other reserve always a different rider when you win the reserve race or follow your partner home and that gives you a bit of confidence going into your next one
  8. he was over there for the winter and has done a few meetings but holds a British passport and now is announced as glasgow’s rising star
  9. only the ruml brother are worth it broc nichol got a team hancock no where near ready fisher retired gino don’t think is doing uk getting both ruml brothers woul make that a pretty decent team at home
  10. maybe riders could be riding for free lol
  11. joe lawlor got to be in with a shout loads of championship experience gained from leicester
  12. At the moment Leon is with Armadale and Kyle is with belle vue if they were picked they might have dropped out the NL but as they have not been picked pretty sure they will still do NL
  13. Maybe wrong but I Don’t think. You can ride in 3 leagues so that would rule out Bickely and if the NL team ave is said to be now 35 one of the big hitters will need to go so he might be the one to be dropped
  14. Don’t think you can ride in 3 leagues and with the likes of Leon and Kyle both doing NL and championship they can’t but maybe guest
  15. I think every single track could be great if they all had a trackman like Doc Bridget, or terry who does wolves and sure he done redcar and helped at stoke towards the end they are a dying breed and if every track was like belle vue it would be the fastest riders wins in most cases different track help develope riders ,how many riders always pull a sicky or really struggle when they have to go to Armadale it’s got to be one of the hardest to ride get the setup right it’s a bit easier Spannered for jack holder when he came up a few years ago don’t think he managed 2 full races he fell off second time then pulled out the meeting said his head was sore but just wanted out the place lol not the first rider i heard saying that Eastbourne also comes into the hard to ride category never follow the line into the first bend or you will end up on the center green but it’s a great home track advantage like Armadale
  16. workington in its last year was great to ride even in the second half meetings my son loved it there berwick we will wait and see but speaking to a few riders who had a practice on it they said it’s still the same line into the corners but when it comes to racing riders will ride it differently when the adrenaline kicks in plymouth defiantly got better towards the end of the 2019 season the track which i think will improve greatly will be kent great set up apart from where the pits are situated now having banking on the bends will make it a lot faster pretty sure the BSPA have a track inspector now and will oversee tracks looking at what equipment clubs and how to best use it and advice on how to prep tracks but will need to see what comes of it redcar glasgow are up there with the best tracks also
  17. 12 was what other clubs were told when they enquired about his services
  18. even if he qualified he would come on on a 5 ave i would go for the ruml brothers
  19. we were there 3 times in the nl the last season we rode 2019 twice called off once for rain once for the track but they did try to fix it but just made it worse third time track was good raced well it’s a really technical track good home advantage very tight but there will be plenty passing with more experienced riders and a good track man great set up for viewing good luck to them
  20. don’t think so not in top 3 of his countries championship
