pretty sure they make a lot of income through hiring out hospitality facilities to cover any major loses and with nothing coming in could maybe lose it all nobody knows how long the hospitality will take to get back up and running
-
could swindon not share with somerset help make it pay
-
I think Stock cars were the main problem at Stoke
-
if the fence can stay in place all season as it is solid once filled up the foam fence is better also no maintenance really if it needs to be taken down every now and then needs to be a air one also the foam will not lift up at the bottom like the air fence and never get a puncture so no time waiting to be repaired

Wonder if the SCB/BSPA refund all the riders licence fees for this year or let it run till next year as that’s their bread and butter income
-
All 3 of them lol
-
And only 10 riders plus 10 mechanics max no public Entry at the moment
-
Think maybe 6/7 clubs running this year in the championship If it goes ahead
-
Glasgow tigers first team to declare they won’t be running this year https://www.glasgowtigers.org/club-statement-2020/
-
Think some Mx tracks have just opened but only for private hire with limited amount of riders and running under a different Insurance and permit From what I am told
-
it’s a hole shot device which is used in motocross only holds the front end down for less lift until it hits the first bump then releases itself most riders have tried it and does not make much difference you still have to drop the clutch faster than anybody else
-
Cookie Rasmus Jensen don’t think they list many riding together
-
Would be good if george started at reserve being the best of the 3 pointers would be a waste in the main body would score well from 7 rides rather then his 4 rides and could make a difference with a few extra points rather than the pressure on the top 3 to score max points
-
Pretty sure 3/4 of the now Newcastle riders asked for a team spot there when they announced they were running a nl team but they never got back to them
-
I think there’s Only a few riders that would fit the Ave that’s left and make them a decent side Luke Harris Danno Verge Ryan Terry Daily but cant see any of them travelling as there based the other side of London Luke Priest but i don’t know if he is still riding then after that your looking at 3+ point riders that won’t travel to ride at number 2-4 as they won’t score much and end up lossing too much money
-
From what I hear there struggling to get riders to travel north
-
3 decent ht leaders and 3 new 3 pointers and 1 has to ride at 2 or 4 which is going to be hard to score any points for one of them it’s got to be a decent last rider using the points left or could see them struggling home and away

My son needed some track time Before the season starts and with the weather up here in Glasgow really bad decided to head south we had planned to practice at Scunthorpe on Saturday But it was cancelled so we new rye house was also open Saturday and weather looked ok so just kept going south and glad we did got plenty Laps in to blow the cobwebs away
-
Yes some still there but look like they have flattened a few
-
Was at rye house yesterday with my son for a practice I must say they are doing a lot of great work off track and it’s looking good and a lot has changed since the last time we were there a few years ago ,the track was perfect and a pleasure to ride a near perfect track according to my son 98%(a little more shale on it Would have been 100% lol) considering the way the weather had been the last few weeks and will provide great racing soon so whoever is doing the track there i take my hat off to you , it was worth the very long 820 mile journey and they are very hopeful that there will be a team coming to the tapes next season

Ashtech the engine tuner has just posted a picture of 2 brand new engines ready and waiting for crumpy I think he will do well personally
-
It’s a lot lot harder for us up here as its really 2 days for the iow trip and pretty much the same for Plymouth and it could be even worse if you get there and it’s called off and if the rider has a full time job , it’s hard to fit all meetings around work holidays it’s a hard journey back when you know you have got to start work at 7.30 the next day and you only got in at 4

SCB appoint Track Curator advisors for 2020.

First thing Rob Grant really did at Newcastle when he took over was to borrow a big blade from Redcar and sort the track out first ,Rob being a ex rider I think he knows that a good prepared track will give great racing and he knows if new comers come and watch fast exciting racing with plenty passing they would maybe come back ,Having the right equipment makes all the difference Stuart Swales does a great job with what he had but putting a blade on it at the start of the season and getting it right from the start should make it easier to maintain durning the season Then the next thing he did was put his own catering in mmmmmm looking forward to sampling his hog roasts and burgers -
