Well in a football dive what happens? The single player gets the reciprications not the whole team. The referee doesn't just award the result to the other team. Same in any sport. A 5-1 won it for the Monarchs but the ref gave it to them. Neither team got the result fairly.

Have to be fair to both teams, don't you? Even if it is a run off?

Explain how then? Why should the ref award the race on the second lap in what is the title decider? Ok Pontus was in the wrong but he should have been made to pay not the whole team. If it had been re run with 3 riders is that not fair? Is this not supposed to be a fair sport?

I mean re run without Pontus. Then Pontus fined. At least the result would have been fair either way and Pontus would get his just desserts. As i said riders have done this before.

But because of one rider, of which many riders have commited the same offence,a team has been punished. What Pontus did was wrong yes but the decision has also handed the monarchs victory on a plate. Morris should have had another chance on his own with Pontus made to pay.

Olly - retain, been a fantastic leader for the team and has been the link throughout the team. Charles - not sure, been brilliant this season and has progressed a lot. Great second string. Is he heat leader material? Brady - Retain, don't think poole will usd him next season and he won't be with anyone else. Wouldn't want him to be either. Pontus - let go, he would have to be a heat leader with brady and olly. Not strong enough of a heat leader trio away from home. Nick - let go, not shown the promise from last season to be honest and I think could do with going elsewhere and not in the Elite. Todd - let go, been brilliant really has I would love to keep him and wouldn't mind if he came back. Is he a risk on a nearly 6.00 point average though? In my mind yes. Starke - Must keep, I believe he is an asset now so get him back in for 2015 as the senior reserve. He has had a great season. so with the riders to keep, Olly Allen Brady Kurtz Paul Starke Charles Wright? Heard about Max Ruml? What average is he? Jack Holder on a 5.00 I have also heard about.

Fair enough but i still don't get why The whole ream had to suffer and not just Pontus? Even if he got fined.

I was just wondering as if it was two heats, why did the whole team have to suffer from one rider? Plus isn't an awarded race only on the last lap? Don't mean anything by this just wondering.

Can I ask any fans who were there? How many laps had been done when Aspgren fell?

Heard something about Jack Holder earlier is the season and Klindt sounds reasonable. Max Ruml though?? Where.have you got that from because that is news to me??

Sorry I could have worded it different to be honest. I meant that the track threw a few of the riders last night. As they said on the centre green. It was different to what it has been and they still rode it brilliantly. I was just trying to put across that even though we didn't have the same style of track the boys were still the better team, without any home advantage.

All these comments about the track and home advantage mean nothing. Last night the track wasn't even fit for the home riders due to the rain earlier in the day. They still rode fantastic and were denied more points by Kennett and tacticals.

The telling point will be how Summers goes. We were let down by Kennett. Morris goes well at the Dale and Summers goes well there too. Allen and Brady were our two underperformers there this season. Going to be interesting.

Disgrace from Kennett, did not try one bit. Just basically turned up for a few extra bob. May get blasted for that but its my opinion. Apart from Kennett, the Rebels were fantastic tonight. Monarchs just a two man team and again in my opinion should have lost by more.

I'm not comparing the pairs with the league though. I'm just saying that Somerset deserved to win that on points but they didn't and no one thought it was a travesty then. Same in the league. If they win fair enough but if we rebels win then will have full credit for doing so. Every match counts.

Not really, not meaning offence here. Edinburgh won the pairs yet the Rebel pair were the better pair on the night after scoring more points. Swings and roundabouts.

Was supposed to be there tonight. Won't though as the same as the rest of the season, work commitments have dented that chance.
