Well knew we would lose again to a good team but was always going to be hard without our best rider, wonder if Newcastle knew this when rearranging 😉. Still confident we can beat the diamonds over two legs though, if it comes to it. Surely Starke, Graj won't be as bad and don't forget this was Jakes first meeting. Rohan is worth more than 9 too. No excuses Newcastle were better but as I think we will meet again .

Hometrack dominance, yet we have only lost once away -
Plymouth V Somerset 27.8.16

Wasn't funny him constantly running down the track and shouting this is what a real track is like and Somerset is boring, was very very tiresome in the end -
Plymouth V Somerset 27.8.16

Apparently according to a Devils fan tonight Somerset is a horrible track with only one line and no overtaking. At the same time stating Plymouth had more lines and more overtaking. -

What was up with Wright last night? Starke came to the party but seemed Wright didn't. Wasn't there as in brum to go to the fours today -
Not according to BWD, who himself has said Dugard is showing himself up, via his facebook. Also no news of him joining Lakeside apart from a picture of a small statement on twitter, but no signitures or evidence of being a real statement.

Funny thing is us Somerset fans at the start gate were cheering for Plymouth aswell.

Somerset Vs Rye House 25/03/16 League Cup
SomersetBlue replied to SomersetBlue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Rye House only got about 40 due to Kennett and Robson. Heeps and Karger didn't trouble the rebels and Nielsen only had one good race. Lanham got a decent gate in heat 14 but nothing apart from that. For the Rebels the main problem was a very grippy bend 4 which caught almost the whole team out. Allen, Grajczonek, Wright all looked superb. Tungate looks like against decent heat leaders he may struggle imo. Davies was what I expected from him. The two reserves looked like they can improve and have two separate riding styles which is good for a reserve partnership. -
Just been announced at the track. Plymouth will be at Somerset next friday as a select side. No riders announced yet.

Somerset Vs Rye House 25/03/16 League Cup

Davies in for Starke. -
I just said to my Uncle it would be great if Debbie Hancock put a challenge meeting together a week Friday against the Devils. Anyone agree?

It was only Rye House that had points but they bumped Plymouth and Somerset onto 3 points. Ridiculous really seeing as it gives Rye House the unfair advantage of now obtaining more points for than Somerset.
-
I meant it out of respect that as, for now, plymouth won't be riding and i don't think their fans want to be reading any match threads.

Sorry to hear this and I have asked for friday matches thread to be taken down out of respect. You are more than welcome at the Rebels.

Somerset Vs Rye House 25/03/16 League Cup
SomersetBlue replied to SomersetBlue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Changed the title and post so ignore this now. -
Shootout now between two sides unless plymouth (hopefully) find new successors. I think all sides have been put on 3 points so Rye keep the points from the Plymouth match. Allen may miss for Rebels with swelling and pain. Rye i believe are full strength. Grajczonek, Allen(R/R), Wright, Starke, Tungate, Wilson Dean, Wajtknecht Kennett, Nielsen, Heeps, Lanham, Robson, Karger, Morley

Leicester V Sheffield Ch 19/03 1pm
SomersetBlue replied to TMW's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Worrall, Nielsen and Grajczonek all only just missed out on the Elite League last season. Plus were key members of the Belle Vue side. Ritchings is fair enough as I don't believe he is strong enough for even the PL. Wright is only reserve for them and Sedgmen i think can do a job in the EL. Anyway each to their own opinion. I do wish the Lions good luck, as it is good to see the underdogs do well (again without being offensive) -

They had Grajczonek, Worrall, Doyle and Sedgmen for R/R so hardly weakens them. Infact probably stronger on the night. As I said I didn't mean any offence by what I said tbh I have just always regarded Leicester as a gaters track. Just my opinion. I didn't mean to come off as putting leicester down if any of you thought. -

Disagree with this totally. Somerset held Swindon to 2 points with 7 races and bar Grajczonek and Doyle were on the same level as us before the crash. Leicester is a gaters track and you have a team of gaters (without being offensive)
