  1. Am sure Matt could've got Vaculik on a 7.00 if he wrote a nice letter to the BSPA
  2. Surely the SGB Premiership will now have to be rebranded as the SGBuster Premiership
  3. From Cllr Michael Stokes FB: Brandon Stadium Statement Following the issues over the last few days, I again offered to facilitate talks between the interested parties. I am pleased to say that both Mr Sandhu and Mr Horton were both very receptive to holding further discussions and engaged fully. This has been a very difficult and complicated situation and neither Sandhu or Horton own the land and there were some legalities at play around the end of leases. Of course the actions over the last few days have been concerning to local residents and fans and have been widely reported on social media and in the local news outlets. However, after listening fully to both sides, it was seen as a necessary step in order to protect the assets. I am confident this was neither a negotiating tactic or an act of spite. Talks were difficult and went on well into the night. Both Sandhu and Horton have a clear passion for motorsport and Brandon Stadium and through this passion both parties were able to overcome the contractual issues. Therefore, I am very pleased to say I was able to successfully facilitate talks that led to an agreement being reached by both parties. Mr Sandhu has agreed to put the stadium back to an operational state and both Stockcars and The Bees will be racing at the stadium in 2017. I would now call upon all the fans and supporters to rally round your teams and show your support in 2017. This is an exceptional reprieve and an opportunity that should not be wasted.
  4. Don't think so, as he seemed annoyed that Horton had acquired the lease & locked him out the stadium last October: might be double bluffing tho
  5. Seems like Horton has been delaying negotiations on a price for fixtures & fittings, trying to call Sandhus bluff. Reckon he expected nothing would be removed by the time he got the lease ☹️
  6. You're going to love David Bellego, typical grumpy Frenchman, great racer & a great guy. Was superb in all his races at the PLRC, the only highlight TBH
  7. Think Howarth can improve, was a different rider at the end of season when he became captain - wonder if he'll be captain this year
  8. Lewis Kerr is on a bargain average - was struggling with new machinery for 3/4 of the year, changed back to what he knew & was flying in the last 1/4
  9. Re: Danny Ayres FB raising money for his operation Richie Worrall: "I'll donate if you show me the invoice 😬😂"

  13. Agree Robert; Rye House will run weekends, but they are also running Approx 6 Wednesday's so as not to clash with SGP's, guess rider acailability also comes into it along with gaps between home meetings. Think there needs to be flexibility "...first is the planned race night for home meetings. Steve can report that We are aiming to maintain Saturday nights as much as we can. We recognise that it is our supporters traditional race night, and also the most convenient one for many of them to attend on. The Grand Prix calendar means that there will be times when that just wont be possible we wont run when there is a clash but out of eighteen planned dates (League, Cup and Premiership Pairs) we are planning to run between eight and ten meetings on Saturdays and two on Bank Holiday Monday afternoons, with allowance for a couple of Monday evenings for Sky Sports live coverage and four-to-six on Wednesdays. http://www.ryehouserockets.co/news.php?extend.1352
  14. Rye House want to run on Saturdays, but realise there will have to be several mid-week. Sky meetings & playoffs would have to be mid-week - impossible to solely run weekends in the top flight Hope things turn out OK & Glyn can finish reshaping the track soon
  15. Buxton website is easier to navigate & loads faster - bonkers! Totally agree, think Paul Starke was drifting before he came to Poole, seems to have a lot more ambition & determination now
  16. Lewis is not the best of gaters, but is not shy in forcing a pass - Should get plenty of entertainment next season
  17. Might be waiting for the restaging of the Stoke x2 & Young Stars fixtures!
  18. TBF Brendan wasn't the only faller that day http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.19314
