  1. Will be worth going to watch Jack Parkinson-Blackburn & the return of Danyon Hume
  2. Never seen a bad meeting there lewy. With two racing lines, the Eddie Kennett & the Jack Holder you can't go wrong Am sure the Devils will improve, just seemed a bit rusty out of the gate yesterday
  3. Totally agree Marcus, superb racing all night - good to see you again, catch up with you at Monmore on Monday
  4. Danny Ayres is going to be knackered this weekend: At Edinburgh tonight, Easty Saturday & 3pm start at Glasgow on Sunday
  5. The Plymouth v Rye House fixture was originally scheduled for 25/03
  6. Looks superb, easy 1st & leading Ashley Morris for 1.5 laps. Definitely one for the future - bit early for PL tho IMHO. Have seen British Youth riders bigger than him Treat him well & hopefully will be excellent for Monarchs next year
  7. £17.50 is fine for Glasgow - they provide a different product than other UK speedway clubs. Only went to 1 match at Glasgow, but was astonished at the transformation, the entertainment throughout was on a different level to every other track last year You're so lucky to have Danny Ayres as your NL reserve - Reckon he'll achieve a 5pt average & rider of the year
  8. If you're thinking about upgrading your TV, get an android & download Kodi from Google Play store - No need for a separate box Would also recommend Virgin Vivid 200 broadband - Did a speed check & got a download speed 206.5 Mb
  9. Hope new No.1 is Dudek (Not doing U-21 anymore) - Have heard the said rider hasn't ridden for a club in UK before. Hopefully find out next week...
  10. http://speedwayzone.dk/u21em-1978 Pretty good Website for all the U-21s
  11. Hi New Yorker Haha - When meeting people for the first time the UK, a friend of mine from USA, would introduce himself by saying "I didn't vote for George W. Bush"
  12. With 3 Poles in the team, possibly riding 14 home matches on a Saturday & Poland Sunday, don't think any other teams riders would have the nerve to complain about riding only 2 Saturday's with Poland the next day Unfortunately there are going to be clashes with World Under-21 & FIM Europe events though
  13. 1983 Cup winner Rosco is still the best man for the job - just got to make sure he goes to the right pit area if Aus reach the SWC final Hope GB are in the Speedway Best Pairs from the off this season
  14. Mmm taking the blade out after heat 8. Relaying the track at 9pm, what's going on!
  15. Would also like to thank Len & John for their devotion in keeping speedway alive at House. Reckon with lower crowds & the cost of necessary improvements to the stadium, it was more than he was prepared to take on. Hope we run a Raiders team next year & when Len returns we can all give him a cheer & thank him personally Lens going to miss driving the tractor at House, hope they let him have a go on the one at Kent
  16. Excellent post B.V 72 - I would guess that because the first tier draft riders have averages, then then the second tier pick would be done lowest 2015 team 1st pick, 2nd lowest 2nd pick etc with no exceptions as teams will have been compensated with extra points for the top 5
  17. At the Lakeside fans forum Jon Cook was suggesting a squad system for double-uppers & FTR's
  18. Heat 10: Lawson,Wolbert,Stichaeur,Riss(Engine Failure)...59.2 (4-2) 32-27 Line Up: Lawson , R/R-Stichaeur , Wolbert , Riss Comments: Stichaeur takes the rider replacement ride. Monarchs gate but Lawson got to the lead by the back straight lap 1 . Riss stops on the last lap while in 2nd , shame haha Nice unbiased updates by Paulco this evening
  19. I reckon Tai didn't really want to ride in the EL 2014, but felt obliged too as World Champion & with Peter Adams helping him in the SGP's. Watching him in the pits, he didn't look as focused (laughing & carefree) & didn't seem to be taking his UK racing seriously. Think he also got a bit cocky after winning his first title, but, FairPlay to him, he was quick to learn from that experience If he came back I'm sure he would only do it if he could give 100% & this requires a conducive structure (single/two day racing; so I don't expect to see him riding for an EL club anytime soon
  20. Jon said 8 teams in the EL next season & AJ turned down other offers to remain at Lakeside, man of his word Let's hope both the Wolves & Hammers have a better season than last - shouldn't be that difficult really...
  21. 12/07/13 v Swindon - Even unpacked his van to ride in ht.15, as Lewis Bridger was the only one prepared to ride, due to track conditions Didn't have the best of nights & even fell in one race - Gave it 100% though - maximum respect
