  1. Apologies if this has been already answered but I've had a wee trawl and can't see it.......................... Is there any further clarification around the specific logistics of the complusory 3.00 NL Brit at No.7 ? Is it a draft? Is it a free for all? Does the No.7 stay at No.7 all season irrespective of their average?
  2. For the love of all things holy not Fisher!!
  3. Do Edinburgh have preference on choosing the leg order by right of finishing top of the regular season then?
  4. I've got to agree with this - the ref should most certainly have put the red light on before he did but James should have cleared the track - from where I stood, admittedly the 4th bend, there appeared to be no contact and he wasn't hurt and he should have cleared the track - especially with R Worral leading at the time of the stoppage - fault on both sides IMO.
  5. I suppose there's no rule about this................you can have either a guest for your No.1 or go with r/r................both allowed??
  6. I think this is quite interesting...........re Wild Cards Could it be argued that the three most exciting current speedway riders, namely Emil, Darcy and PK, are not currently in the GP series? I know PK is currently in but you know what I mean.
  7. What do we think our intentions are regarding replacements for Howe and Berge? I assume rules will dictate that we can't use RR and guests for the rest of the season. The signing of Howe appears (now) to have been a complete folly - a kneejerk reaction to avoid the consequences of Sarjeant getting a new average. Howe appears to be chronically injured. Does RR eventually run out? Is it a 28 days facility? How many points do we technically have to recruit to new riders? Would there be 4 homes / 4 aways left to recruit a 7 point scandic? Our success with that market hasn't been great in recent years. Could we make it financial worthwhile to recall Anders Thomson for the rest of the season? Let him meet the new regime and see our ambitions first hand. I don't think he'll ever be a world beater - not with that gating - but would he be at least a "devil we know"?
  8. It would be great to have the SGP WC back in the UK. I really enjoyed previous events at Poole and the very hairy very wet FIVE rider per race event at Peterborough.
  9. I know this is the correct thread for this but does anyone know any details for the 2016 World Cup?
  10. Too sensible by half - you are clearly on the wrong forum. I suggest you do something more constructive with your time
  11. Pumped and we didn't even need our number 1, he's off beating the world's best for fun.
  12. Fair enough I thought that it would be okay as he was technically not moving.
  13. I don't know the "real" rule but surely the spirit of the rule is that all four guys are completely stationary when the button is pressed. I remember always being facinated by Derek Sneddon's back wheel starting to rotate whilst he was on the green light - I always thought that is probably a good edge and would be legal.
  14. PR disaster. Last night, or this morning, the promotion might conceivably have thought that this meeting might have started but it would never have finished. Meteorology may not be an exact science, especially in Scotland, but gings crivens help ma boab this was wanton blind faith.
  15. Must be an oversight - here's Sky's schedule: http://www1.skysports.com/watch/speedway-on-sky Mind you we're not Elite League.........not yet anyways
  16. I'm not able to give a definitive answer to this but I do recall at Glasgow when Alun Biggart took over the that previous, at that time, promotor(s) Stewart Dickson ( and Alan Dick?) was said to have technically "owned" the contract of Josh Grajczonek, Nick Morris and Mason Campton. The inference being that when they were sold that Glasgow Tigers Speedway (plc) were not getting the transfer money.
  17. I acknowledge there were circumstances above and beyond but three hour long meetings are going to put ppl off. Speedway should be part of a day off and not its entirety. Okay exaggerating for effect here......
  18. I fear for Roynon, I really do, the guy seems jinxed. Should he walk away while he still can?
  19. "Attack posts, not posters" to quote you, but you've resorted to calling me "pathetic". You're a contrary fellow aren't you?
