  1. True, but tonight he was harshly excluded. TV never learn, stick a camera in front of a fallen or excluded rider and they are bound to be swearing, what do these idiot TV cameramen expect.
  2. Yeah that's a good point, going back a few years that place did produce some great racing.
  3. A question that's bugged me for years. If a rider races his ass off to reach the final, surely they deserve something even if they come last in the final, equally a rider deserves something extra for winning a GP, so what about a 4pts, 3pts, 2pts 1pt for the GP final? Any obvious flaw in my thinking?
  4. Not sure I would include Coventry in that list, but the other three tracks are great, big racing tracks that often produce great speedway RACING.
  5. Ok, Hancock now has the title, I wonder if Pearson will now put that to one side until the end and focus on the battles for 3rd and 8th.. I doubt it!
  6. I must admit I picked one up in Sainsbury's a couple of weeks ago, and opened the front page to see what leafing story was, but I put it back down again when I saw another Hancock love-in from Pearson. The magazine may have been brilliant elsewhere, but I won't pay to read his crap.
  7. Busty women? Where is this again? I would subscribe
  8. Shows how stupid some fans are to have put money into such collections. Sure if a young rider blows an engine, I have and will always throw in a few quid but for this, not a chance. It's like those West Ham (or was it Spurs, not sure) fans collected money to pay the fine for some scroat who ran on to the pitch and took a free kick. Happened before. Matousek did it more than once, at the 4TT final I think and at Sheffield after he 'collided' with Nagy, he took exception to a hand gesture I made and threw a punch (it missed).
  9. Happens in cricket too, those bowlers wit weird actions are suspended whilst it is investigated.
  10. Then it is no longer 'sport'. I detest how one or two drivers in F1 get their spots with smaller teams because of sponsorship that they bring. A world championship should where possible be either: - Based off a fair qualification, riders earn their right to be there. or - Picked because they are considered to be amongst the best in the world (not because they have a certain nationality)
  11. And the excuse for the rest of the season? The love in with Hancock was not unique to Saturday. As the night went on, the focus should have been the rider who was racing to a 21 pointer. His primary job is to commentate clearly and impartially, not promote.
  12. Under Tony Mole things should be done the right way for a long term plan, rather than short term plan. If I was a Brummie fan, I would be hopeful under Mole's guidance. As one man ever done more for the sport of Speedway across the UK?
  13. Why do you use the forum?.. you don't seem to like the fact people express opinions, unless they are in line with your own. 100 pages shows people care (mainly about the sport and their clubs than Ward). Assuming he is not banned then I think commercially I think they have to add Ward back and give him a wildcard. Sports wise it would be nice to see the best in the world racing, which includes Ward. Ethically it is wrong to give him a wildcard after he CHOSE to press self-destruct. If as I suspect they give him a wildcard, I would like to see it be with the stipulation he will be tested at all GP weekend's and any further infringements will result in long ban from all speedway.
  14. Are people really slagging off Harris for being in front of Tai? Perhaps Tai should have ridden better last night to be in front of Harris.
  15. I think I've tuned in to the Hancock Fan Club show.
  16. FFS why is Pearson talking about overall positions after heat one. Gonna change multiple times before the semis.
  17. X Factor? Does anyone still watch that commercial crap?
  18. I know but I don't follow Ward, only looked at his profile today. But should a professional being saying it about another professional?
  19. Instead of sitting his suspension out quietly I see ward his acting professionally still by slagging off other professionals on Twitter. I would say it was a cynical ploy to deflect attention away from himself, but I don't think Ward is that clever to be cynical! I think Ward is a brilliant rider on the bike, but the more I see and read about this guy the better I think speedway would be better off without him (I don't just mean the failed test). Sadly there are too many sycophants telling him how he is missed and how great he is.
  20. He was given a chance and he grabbed it. That's what sportsmen and women do. Will he finish top 8? Not on this seasons GP showing, but 18 month ago if asked if Tai would have been World Champion I would have said the same. Anything is possible. Harris was given a chance for 2015, he grabbed it. Good luck to him. Shame on the negative people.
  21. I also want to remind the Harris critics of what 99% of this forum (myself included) were saying about 18-24 months ago, that Tai was not good enough either. He went out and shut every one of us up by winning the title. I am not for one moment suggesting Harris will win next season, but there is no reason he can not win one or two GPs if he sorts himself out.
  22. I ask again. What do you want him to do, turn down the chance to ride? Really, like the night he won in Cardiff?
  23. I am fed up of these disrespectful comments. If he earns his place through this meeting then good luck to him next season. What do you bunch of morons want him to do, say no to riding in the GP Challenge?
  24. Really? There is that much to discuss about cleaning carpets there is a forum for it?
