In the Leigh Adams era the crowds were 1,500 strong every week. They are around 1000 nowadays. I'm pretty sure crowds will increase with the new stadium. Got to expect 2000 at least for the first few meetings. Then it's up to the management as to how they promote and advertise speedway in Swindon.

Zengi would do a decent job for you. Totally reliable (even more so than Janowski) and improving all the time. He would get dialled into the Lynn track pretty quickly too I reckon. He's not a number one, but will deliver double figure scores occasionally. At least he will be used to Batchelor's petulance!

At least Lynn will gain an extra fan from Peterborough

The best racing I've seen is at Peterborough and Somerset. Consistently good if not excellent racing. Swindon used to provide superb racing but probably like at Lynn, the standard has dipped a little in recent years. Monmore seems to be the most consistent nowadays. Have been to Plymouth several times and although it is the smallest track I've seen, the racing has been brilliant.
