  1. What a terrible shame for Plymouth and their loyal fans. I'm sure it won't take too long for the negative ones to come on here rubbing their hands with glee. Easy for me to say, but Plymouth had such a great little set up, terrific racing track, a huge cattachment of support. Gagging for the right person to come in and ensure sustainable entertainment.
  2. If any team can beat Poole (at home) it's Swindon. They seem to up their game against the Pirates at Blunsdon. In my opinion, Poole won't lose too many matches home or away this season, but they will have their work cut out to come away from Blunsdon with anything.
  3. Looking at the shape of the Poole side this year, it's hard to see many sides coming away from Wimbourne Road with anything but a thumping. Although only two matches in, they look ominously strong throughout. Swindon to struggle to get to 40 points.
  4. Once he un hooks the caravan that has been connected to the back of his bike, he will be fine
  5. Bit posh for our Aussies isn't it? I guess The Sun at Lydiard Millicent will start serving ghastly Fosters now!!
  6. Although I wouldn't call Hans a dirty rider, he certainly was aggressive in his time at Swindon. Especially coming off bend two at Blunsdon when he was sometimes uncompromising In relation to rolling at the tapes, Hans and Sarjeant apart, your new signing Brady Kurtz got warned numerous times last season by referees at Somerset.
  7. By the look of the Swindon team it seems the match will be run with the premier league format, which i personally prefer.
  8. Best of British this season to the Aces and their long suffering fans. Let's hope all goes well with the track. If it's half as good as Hyde Road then you guys are in for a treat.
  9. Mmm Kasprzak and the word 'depends'..... Doesn't really slip off the tongue does it? Wonder what the betting would be on him completing the season at Coventry. I will say this, if the Bees are not winning, he will be gone by June.
  10. I can't think of many head of businesses that are proactive and ahead of the game. It's certainly not just speedway promoters.
  11. Isn't that a good thing that the owner has as you put it "woken up"? Isn't that a positive? Isn't it a positive that there are persons striving to correct the track to try to ensure people get their value for money? So be it that the owner as you put it "didn't listen for years". Maybe he is now. Isn't that a positive?
  12. How about the fact that the Lions are back on track after years and years in the wilderness? How about the fact that there are people trying their darnest to correct the track and its racing lines? How about the fact that you have a very decent stadium? There's three reasons to be cheerful
  13. Quite a few humans have disappeared having entered the back straight bogs at Blunsdon too
  14. Reckon he's going to be in the mix for sure Sidders. He's a fine rider. He just needs to cut out the falls whilst miles in front. How does he do that so often is my question. Does he lose concentration? Can't ever think of the likes of Olsen, Mauger, Rickardsson and Hancock doing it. I reckon PK has done this maybe half a dozen times, and that's just riding for Swindon! Something else I've noted with PK is that there has been an element of 'diving' which seems to have crept into his riding.
  15. I'm sure Blunsdon is a couple of degrees colder than anywhere else, so watching a meeting there in March is sometimes a test of one's resilience! Mind you, it can be similar there in July! I reckon on two meetings a season where you can wear T-shirt and shorts. The rest of the time it's jumpers and overcoats. I did see Shov at Blunsdon in open toed sandals once which caused a bit of a stir on the back straight!
  16. He puts 100% into his wheelies when last
  17. Got to be a sensible call to recall Nicholls. Unless another English rider emerges this season, Nicholls strengthens the GB side as it stands.
