  1. Remember fans of both clubs, there are still roadworks on Wimborne Road near to Poole Stadium so allow a bit more time to get there!! Weather is fine with no possibility of even a light shower before Edinburgh arrive. Also theres a great piece in today's Echo by Danny Ford supporting the Monarch's search for a new track. http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk
  2. Don't forget Edinburgh fans the meeting is to be streamed by Pirates TV. Check out LIVESTREAM on the Pirates website. £11.99 Unless you intend to watch Scotland v Ukraine footie?
  3. One minute you talk about clubs 'cutting their cloth accordingly' and then clubs 'taking the risk' and bringing top level riders over?! Yet if a couple of clubs are financially sound enough to employ 'top' riders but the others in that league aren't then how does that solve any of speedway's problems. You also compare British Speedway unfavourably with Sweden and Denmark as if they have no problems at all - wrong!!
  4. Whether attending or watching the stream it would be nice to see an official meeting preview!!?
  5. Edwards is due to be in Polish U24 fixture - as is Zach Cook on Tuesday.
  6. Isn't the German SGP also on Saturday 4th, as well as International Footie (yes I know its England!!) on mainstream TV?! Excellent fixture planning
  7. Its r/r for Lasse at 2 and Jason Edwards at reserve (7) for Sargeant. Only Paco and the reserves can take the r/r rides.
  8. Everyone who has subscribed has been emailed/contacted this morning (or will be) not only with the official apology but also a breakdown of the various recompense to their different subscription passes. Big investment in new equipment also underway. As a season pass subscriber I am more than happy with their explanations.
  9. 'Not quite on it' but still top of Pirates averages for June! Injury to his hand/wrist have certainly not helped.....!
  10. Replace Vissing with whom exactly?? Incidentally with the June Greensheets now available it'll be slightly more difficult to get a decent guest for Auty. PS Kemp stays at reserve for Poole by 0.02 less than Ben Cook!!
  11. You keep bad-mouthing the choice of guests!? Who would you suggest? You only have to look at the current averages on the British Speedway site to see any other options.
  12. From the statements from the Monarchs Promotion, they seem very confident that Edinburgh will be coming to tapes in 2023. Its not as if this latest announcement has come as a surprise so the Promotion have clearly been working on possible alternatives for some time. Lets hope they are fruitful
  13. I think the away support outnumbers the home support - whether fans are there or not!
  14. Brennan is by far the best of those available apart from possibly Barker?!
  15. Can't be Howarth as he guested last week (8-day rule)!! MPT is listed as riding for Holsted in Denmark, so Barker, Aarnio or Brennan I would reckon, or r/r.
  16. ....which is why I asked the question.........!!
  17. That'll be a NO then!! Twitter and/or Speedway Updates it is then.....
  18. The article with Dan's comments is already on the Echo online, ready for tomorrow's printed version
  19. Poole v Berwick rearranged for Weds 29th June and its still being streamed on BSN. Weds 29th June was going to be a free date as Poole host the Championship Riders meeting on Saturday 2nd July, but hey ho.
