  1. Mr Tolley said on TV interview last night that there was 'no truth in the rumour that he was taking over at Sheffield, despite some banners plus a top hat with a tiger on it'!! He did say it with a smile on his face and also emphasised that he would still be involved in speedway next year!! He also mentioned the possibility of Cradley returning in 2027!!?
  2. September averages: Lawson 9.83 Rowe 7.57 Cook 7.34 Kerr 6.94 Thomsen 4.81 Starke 4.13 Cairns 3.91 TOTAL 44.53
  3. He's only 'in charge' of the Premiership - primarily for the TV contract!
  4. So season over for the Gladiators -, 23rd August 2025!!!! Wow....!
  5. Better admission charges too I wager!? (NB. So good to see the Poole 2025 thread providing a platform for Plymouth, Worky and other 'fans')!.............😚 PS> Happy Birthday to Tobias Thomsen today - doughnuts for his supper no doubt!!😂
  6. The Fords 'will be dipping into their pockets' to pay for the new air fence! As for Tobias, it is suggested that his Danish club will be in their top league next year so Wednesday fixtures!!! Thats why Plymouth or Glasgow might be better options for him.......?!😜 In any case, until the league format, number of teams and the 'agreed' 40points limit are confirmed, its a bit pointless looking at possible line-ups for 2026, imo!!
  7. I know that's the format in the Prem but wasn't sure it applied in the Championship?
  8. Congrats to the Tigers. Finishing top has been a no-brainer for a few weeks and with the play-off 4 now virtually certain, the big question now is who will Glasgow choose in the semi final?
  9. You would think the BSPL website would have single click access to club Facebook pages rather than club websites!!!😂
  10. That'll be why they've had to close the gates a couple of times previously when Poole have finals to contest!!
  11. I thought Tobias was guesting for Lasse at Redcar and Klindt at Plymouth?!
  12. It was temporary seating brought in for the 3rd/4th bends. Capacity now reduced by Stadium Health & Safety regs to around 3,500-4,000 I believe!! Stadium staff on duty at every turnstile now with click-counters.
  13. He loved it at Wimborne Road last night too. Rider of the Night plus an interview on BBC South Today.
  14. No worries. Tobias will sort it out!!😃
  15. Knock-out speedway has different mind-sets to league racing, especially after the Ford's and Middlo got them all together and agreed the track prep needed to.be different. And it was, as well as riders not worrying about their averages for 2026 team building!!😉
  16. He was probably surveying the big crowd and doing a bit of 'Garry May spotting' !!🤣
  17. 58-32 'nuff said!😇 Although next week at Sandy Lane,Pirates final opportunity to lower their averages for 2026 will see a very different result imo!!
  18. I'm sure BBC SOUTH TODAY will show some coverage tomorrow.
  19. There's nothing like a'nice smooth consistent rack'!!🤣
  20. Danny Ford reckons track prep will be totally different to recent weeks after frank discussions with all the Pirate riders. Terry the Track - its all yours......!!😄
