Ah OK. No excuse then. KARLITO.......! -
Surely depends on how you define quality?! The quality of racing in NDL can be just as enthralling and entertaining without any star names. But as said previously, each to their own. End.

No point in having Sweet Caroline with all the mobile phone torchlights on. Its still light!!! -
Been there, done that. What's your point?

I'm sure 'BackInTheDHSS' will still go along this evening - even if there is no meeting on Cheetahs usual race day! -
Watch out, watch out, the Gav's about!! (Oh silly me its a Poole thread, Duh) One race per meeting doesn't do it for me!
-
Yes I shall miss seeing GP-level 2nd string Janowski behind Championship riders Harris and Wright in the August averages! Not!
-
So a Championship 2nd string becomes a Premiership 3rd heat leader for August. Go Zach!!
-
Was that also 'the problem' in 2021 and 2022? Asking for a friend!
-
Yep, cost being the main reason and racing on your preferred raceday. Ps. No crashes at Cowley then??!! Pps. What are the odds of Oxford NOT doing all 3 leagues in 2025.
-
How I get my 'wow' factor is entirely up to me. Watching Lawson, Brennan and Ben Cook against other heat leaders of similar standard is far better than watching Emil half a lap in front of various 'rising stars'. Each to their own as long as they still attend.

I think Karlito may have to play a bit of AC/DC!! -

Think you'll find that's more to the south east. -

Anyway, extra incentive for the Tigers tomorrow - to stop Pirates reaching 41 home meetings unbeaten since June 2022! -

As you regularly demonstrate!! Anyway with all this talk about Poole going back up, why did Glasgow not go up after winning the league last year and with their 'super facilities' and 'super racing'? Was it because they didn't want to run Mons/Thurs? Just like Poole then?! -

Brum CAN continue (as announced last night) and Poole won't be going back up. -
Panthers could surely still return in 2025 at the Showground, initially in Championship say, as a weekend operation with the basics of a track - a bit like Workington, to start with. Then build upwards from there...........?

Still no confirmation that Thomsen has fully recovered from his ankle injury last week, and no official news of a guest standing by (although lots of rumours) so I guess it could be r/r at 2. If its r/r that'll mean Tobias gets another week of recovery before coming back at reserve v Scunny on 7th! -
Each to their own. The Prem meetings I have seen on tv or stream haven't produced any more exciting racing than those in Championship - in some cases a heck of a lot worse! Still as many processional races because there aren't so called 'top' riders in every race. But as I've said each to their own.

Subject to fitness. As for Barker let's hope he uses the same 'lawn mower' engine as the weekend!! -
The team strengths may be less due to points limits but the racing/ atmosphere has been just as good imo. But I accept others have a different point of view. For example is Championship racing at Glasgow or Redcar any worse??
