  1. Both Rose and guest Bewley out for tonight!!
  2. .....and show a lot more professionalism in all aspects of their speedway lives!!!!
  3. So with Sky showing both Wolves meetings this evening, will they also have a remote camera at Leicester to show all Bjarne's races on his (2nd) return visit to Beaumont Park?? No - thought not!! ;-) ;-)
  4. September 12th may finally decide the top position. Live on Sky too!!
  5. According to the Poole preview he's in Denmark for a fixture there. Holder, Andersen and Klindt all on duty in Poland today.
  6. So both teams announced as expected with their usual 1-7s, subject to the travelling arrangements from the continent all going to plan!! Holder and Andersen both involved in Poland today!! Lets hope both GP riders continue their respective GP form and Scotty proves once again that he's now a better summariser than a rider!! Stay safe everyone - its gonna be a long day!!
  7. For me Lakeside have done exactly the same as the past few seasons - got a lot of fixtures in early with some good home results which gave them a false position at the top of the table. Then as the season progresses and other teams play catch up with fixtures, Lakeside slowly slip out of play-off contention!!
  8. So, (more) work to get underway as soon as the Robins final 2016 meeting has taken place!!!
  9. So it would seem that the BSPA promoters who met in a General Council meeting on Tuesday are considering a new 'Chief Executive-style appointment with overall authority on decisions'!> "A well known businessman from the sporting fraternity has been involved in pressing talks with the MC and has outlined his own version of a major blueprint!" 'The biggest question is whether there will be sufficient support for change - and real change at that - from the current promoters?' (Speedway Star, 27/08/2016)
  10. Wolves must be clear favourites now!! :-) ;-)
  11. For those that may not have read the article by Peter Oakes in this week's Speedway Star, the 'Speedway Control Bureau are ready to step up their testing between now and the end of this season'. This follows 'several anonymous calls to UKAD (UK Anti-Doping) naming at least 3 riders who are suspected of doping'. UKAD immediately contacted SCB Prime Officer Graham Reeve who has already prepared a timetable of testing. 'It is understood that some tests would already have been carried out had the weather not intervened'!!!
  12. Gordon Pairman (SCB and Poole) is a regular viewer and occasional poster - when called upon to correct some of the cr**py posts!! ;-)
  13. So, as they are saying on the Poole forum, MF only has til 28th to make an 'unforced through injury' change. Poole can't reintroduce Gomolski without specific BSPA MC permission!! Poole's current team average is 47+points so can't see a re-declaration with more than one change - if that!!? Mark Lemon's comments could just be referring to a change in Monday's line-up (ie, guest(s), r/r maybe??)
  14. So for Mark Lemon to make the comment, he's either already had the Poole 1-7 advised for Monday (possibly with someone not making it back from Europe in time?) OR has he been told its an Aussie rider?
  15. Yes, Milik would be at reserve!! But will it be just one change or possibly 2??
  16. 'They still have the strongest 1-7 .........riders are underperforming'!! Surely that means Poole don't have the strongest 1-7?!
  17. Hardly something to bring up on this Swindon v Poole thread is it Gavan.??!
  18. As theres a retrial coming up I imagine the mods will close this thread fairly soon?!!
  19. The thing that clicked (or stopped clicking) was his shoulder once he'd had the op!!!
  20. You're a good man Mr Orlov. Its always good to have faith!! ;-) ;-)
  21. Tell me about the change, tell me about the change. I'm intrigued!
