  1. Poole folded like a pack of cards, intimidated by the Blundon Roar I reckon.
  2. Unlucky for Wolves, especially no Freddie at Monmore, Jacob and him don't go well at The Abbey. Swindon should win it now, but ya never know in speedway.
  3. Swindon have to be looking at about 15 point I reckon, to take to Monmore. Get into em from the start, get the Blunsdon Roar going, not Wolves fav track and vice-versa. Let's have some chanting and cheering Robins fans! Sounds good, you mean the away leg?
  4. I should OF realised! It was trictrac who led the notorious Blunsdon Back Straight Bog Crew in the 80s, they were disbanded after a rumble with Oxford fans. Now a nice chap, can be seen vaping on the terraces near the startline. I had a brief chat with the Town legend Don Rogers on Monday evening
  5. Comedy gold, organisum. Trictrac is not KKS, I grew up with him, has been a Swindon fan for about 50 years, I think Poole is one of his favourite teams as he had relatives from Dorset. Not much this guy doesn't know about horse racing, makes a decent amount of money from it, and lives comfortably in a nice home in east Swindon.
  6. Watched the final on ch.424 Zagar's team won it.
  7. You should of, secretly liking Poole, I arsk you. I thought you went to Pool Gramma Skhool?
  8. I was more optimistic, expected to finish 6th., although Cookie said Swindon bottom. It was pretty nailed on that Belle Vue, Poole, Wolves, were gonna be in playoffs, I'm glad Rye didn't make it.
  9. Ed was good at Swindon in the Killer/Driller pairing with Pete Kildemand. Nice geezer to chat to. Saw another side to Kid Kennett at Cardiff, queuing behind him for tickets at the box office. Big time Charlie with his mouthy pissed-up mates, the Sussex Mafia entourage. Perhaps he had some problems at Swindon with not getting paid or something. Different character to that nice Simon Steady. Both should have hit the top in the sport.
  10. Dogs take priority, bit unfair, Swindon will just have to try and build a big lead. If they do win it overall the home fans will miss out again as in 2012.
  11. Yous should have been at The Abbey last night, the place was rockin.
  12. You have to remember the Canford Cliffs/Sandbanks/Branksome Park WIs meet on a Monday, so that would reduce the travelling support. You have to remember the Canford Cliffs/Sandbanks/Branksome Park WIs meet on a Monday, so that would reduce the travelling support.
  13. Thats the most noise at The Shabbey for a while, would have said around 3000 there. Should be more next week. At least weren't bloody cold last night, watching the other meeting on big screen. No need really for Doyley taking the piss out of Andersen, doing wheelies and slowing down when a country mile ahead. Words exchanged.
  14. I saw 2 on the back straight in Wulfsports jackets and sensible hats, and a couple of girls were irritatingly screaming until Swindon smashed in those 5-1s. They used to bring a reasonable following when they had the Turbo Twins, but as someone said to me at Poole Quay last week the crowds have really gone down.Hopefully they will have a more competitive side next year and increased crowds. I prefer those nice pleasant Knobs and Zummerrzet west country fans to a few of the aggressive noisy Wolves Black Country Yam Army, a few shaven headed sods tried to storm the pits when Wolves won the title in 2009, and clashed with stewards. Will be hundreds there at The Abbey on Monday for the Final. Well done to any Pirate fan that did that orrible journey from Dorset last night. Dont like that Salisbury road at night. Perhaps that was just someone in the back straight bogs crying out in anguish.
  15. Swindon won fairly easily, more than scoreline suggests. Fantastic pass by Morra, squeaky bum time when Poole were one ahead. Well done Deano. Fantastic crowd and noise. GO ROBINS!
  16. Not raining in Royal Blunsdon Is that the one with a little robin on the front? Withdrawn from sale at track shop due to decency laws.
  17. Just remembered we have to watch the other semi as well, gonna be a long evening at the Abbey.
  18. Adver Rider of the Year time. Won last year by current world number 1 Doyley with nearly 90% of the votes. Won't be clear cut this time, I will go for the vastly improved Nicky Morris, who together with Toby and Dave B., also Adam and ZW, have taken unfancied Swindon from second bottom to top, setting a club win record on the way. Get ya votes in.
