  1. Up at Swindon for second half of season when they went on 17 wins in a row run.
  2. Dinner Dance at Blunsdon House, Sat.21st Oct. Tickets 40 quid a pop, everyone but Jase will be there. First time we've attended. Normally get 200-250 there. Still no news on presentation of trophy to the 3000 Robins not at Wolves. Edit...next Thursday 19th. trophy presentation at The Abbey, 7.15, all bar Doyley, well done Swindon speedway.
  3. Yep good news hopefully, Tommo on Twitter. Deserve a decent stadium to go with a decent team to keep the crowds coming.
  4. Oh dear, can't believe Doyle didn't win heat 15, perhaps he was thinking about the GP.
  5. Fantastic season Robins, a bunch of no hopers to table toppers and champions. Well done Rosco and the seven stars. Need to present the trophy to the thousands of Abbey fans that have cheered on the Robins, hopefully won't be the same as 2012. Good to finish top and win the play off. Commiserations to the Wolves without Freddie and Jacob.
  6. Good Robins feature on BBC TV West news. Match is live on BBC Wiltshire Radio. Agree tricky 45 each...will you will be watching on the Pakistan tv app? And that's just the toilets
  7. The few I spoke to said thought they would be battered, so fair play to the 50 or so on the back straight that made the journey south.8 years ago it was a second leg meeting, Wolves had one hand on the trophy after the home leg, so hundreds turned up. At least no Yam Yobbos there last night. Must have been over 3000 there last night, but still hundreds have not returned since Adams departed. Great to see so many at The Abbey for the latter part of the campaign, New and ex-fans.
  8. Not over yet, no Lindgren or Thorsell, will go 45 each. GO ROBINS!!!
  9. Great donuts and curry sauce and chips, but Swindling Swindon, extra quid for 4 extra prog pages. Good crowd, good atmosphere, but so few away fans now, compared to the 2009 final. Good bunch of peeps from the Black and Gold country. Congrats to Wolves but not over yet. Robins clawed the 12 deficit back to 4. Poole led at Swindon after first leg defeat. Far too complacent, Wolves wanted it more. Excellent season though finishing top, well done guys.
  10. Regardless of the Final result been a very good season, finishing top, record 17 wins in row, the 3 wins at Poole where they had not won for 8 years, Doyley probably world champ, Lee Kilby bringing in new sponsors, and the crowds flocking back to The Shabbey. Started off in doom and gloom in April and May, second from bottom, defeats, poor crowds, bad news over new stadium build. All those blank Thursdays. Seems Mike Bowden has stepped down due to ill health. Good future ahead for the club. Well done Rosco and all the riders.
  11. Well done Wolves fully deserved. Only about 50 fans on back straight and the ones I spoke to don't think its all over.
  12. He didn't just waltz past him, blasted past, then was doing wheelies and purposely slowing down. If Schlein and Masters are on the gas could be closer, but would be surprised if Swindon don't hit 55.
  13. Last meeting at The Abbey it was Swindon 52 Wolves 40, Doyle paid max. 11+1, he didn't come out for heat 15, Ellis 8, Muesli 10 +1, Bellego 4, Morra 12+1, Aarnio 5+1, Bowtell 2+1. Lindgren 10+1, only 1 heat win, Worrall 7+1, Schlein r/r, Thorsell 9+1, only 1 heat win, Masters 8, Riss 4+2, Greaves 2. Wolves have to hope Schleiny wins some races, and Swindon have a few falls and e.f.s otherwise will be a massacre.
  14. Wilson-Dean Doyle Morris Muesli Bellego Ellis Lindgren Thorsell Schlein Cook
  15. Cold Harbour good, Robins Farm, Harvester avera I think Ellis will get 6...will go 55-35.
