  1. Don't worry the Robins top 5 will hit 45, and BWD will be back for playoffs with new engine. Showers forecast for today.
  2. I'm sure he ran a market stall in East Enders, or is a singer?
  3. If Swindon beat Wolves on Thursday will beat Coventry's record for this century set in 2007 currently 16. Cradley have the record of 20 set in 1981, followed by Oxford with 19 in 85/86.
  4. I think Rye are the form team and the one Swindon should avoid if in semis.
  5. I think he was just trying to hop over the airfence to get a cold drink from the snack van. Shock single win for Bjerre over Doyley, the Aussie seemed to slow down, half expecting the red lights to come on for unsatisfactory start. Fair play to the ref let a few flyers go. The track looked bumpy, lots of falls on second bend.
  6. Swindon not as strong without BWD and ZW, will go for narrow Robins win 48-42.
  7. Hope it doesn't run for almost 5 hours as it did at Swindon last night. Quite a few left before the end.
  8. 2 Sun breaks and delays, nearly 5 hours, riders missing, quite a few left early. No more double headers! But we're gonna finish top.
  9. Another 3000 crowd, went on forever, 16 in a row, 10 points clear, nearly lost the will to live.
  10. Swindon haven't found Leicester easy to beat, won 2 lost 1, will go 52-40, Against Zummerrzet 3 wins out of 3, will go 56-34. Should be bumper crowd in the Bank Holiday sunshine, and hopefully 16 wins in a row.
  11. For me Fundin was the best, won the first world final I saw 1963 at Wembley, Knutsson second, Briggo third, only time i saw Peter Craven. When Sweden had the best riders. Briggs was best mid to late 60s, then Mauger ruled.
  12. Christ! Well done Lions. So many unpredictable results this season.
  13. Yep come on you knobs, on holiday there in 3 weeks, don't wanna see peeps walking round with a face like a smacked Arse.
  14. How many do you reckon? Should be bumper crowd again on Monday. Would have cost us 118 quid plus for the 3 dates, so gave last night a miss.
  15. Rosco definitely one of the best managers of recent times, winning it with Swindon and Coventry. After Big Ron had led the Robins the year before to that dismal bottom spot, total pants, but the fans didn't give up. First year without Adams, and Scotty number 1.
  16. Can't see it being 60-30 again, will go 47-43 to Rye. Even though Swindon have 5 out of 5 win record against them would rather face the Knobs in semi because of that Polish bloke Krackerjack.
