  1. I just hope Swindon don't go into a silly 27-9 lead like last time, then it's game over. Need a last heat decider and buzzing atmosphere from the fanatical free fousand Robins fans and the Blunsdon Roar. If Poole pull off a shock win they will deserve the trophy, they had great chance at home, can't see 10 heat wins at Blunsdon for them. May the best team win. GO ROBINS!!!
  2. Get ya own. Just drove past the track, Big Bad Ron was painting Welcome to Hell on stadium wall.
  3. It's not true...I saw some schools in that area last week.
  4. Belle Vue will definitely get 52, 38 for Swindon then. Well done to the Aces, no Doyley and Deano game over.
  5. Without Doyley and Deano will go 52-40 to the Mancs, although Robins won there easily last time, with Deano top scorer.
  6. Perhaps the ex Reading man is eyeing up a return for the Robins. No.
  7. I was in there yesterday, a guy who looked very similar was shouting "I cannot find any Svedish meatballs." An assistant pointed out that it was Ikea that sells them. Just back from me olidays in Poole, met one ex-Pirates fan, a boat skipper on the Quay, was a regular in the days of the Turbo Twins, but doesnt go now, said its gone downhill Liked the DW43 bike on the side wall of the pub in Lagard Street, some right chavs in the High Street, nearly as bad as parts of Boscombe. Don't think the Pirates are out of it yet, wouldn't be surprised if they nicked it, Doyley is off form, would normally go around 12 points Robins victory. As long as its good close match and not like last time.
  8. Do you only have the first leg now? Bring a chair, you wont be able to climb in.
  9. Sun out in Royal Haydon End, after heavy showers. 55-35 to the rampant rockin Robins.
  10. Lee has done a great job as Commercial Manager. Mike of M&S Truck and Van Rentals, and Dom of Pebley Beach, and many others, put a lot of money into the club, and saved them from going under in 2013.
  11. As only around 20 % of homes have BT Sport don't think the attendance will be greatly affected. Over 3000 turned out for the televised five quid meeting, poor weather, and nearly 3000 for the 25 quid double header on the sunny Bank Holiday Monday that wasn't televised. Should be somewhere around this figure for the play-off semi if the weather is ok. Fair play to Swindon.
  12. Was chatting to a sponsor he was saying around 9000 attended on those 4 dates. Would have probably been half that if Swindon had not have been top, looking at some of those sparse crowds in April May June. Can remember Patch saying in 2012 there was more for the league match against Poole than the Grand Final that had just 2700 there. It was crap weather though. Poole used to bring a reasonable number to Blunsdon but never seen so few last time. A downward trend throughout league speedway unfortunately.
  13. 424 Free Sports 6.00 tonight live Swedish speedway.
  14. They probably preferred attending the Branksome Ballroom Dance evening, Sandbanks Silver Thread Club, Hengistbury Head Flower Arrangers, Barton on Sea W.I., or Wimborne Amateur Dramatic Society.Poole had a good chance to beat Swindon after the 2 defeats at Rye and Wolves, but after an 8 year wait the Robins have won 3 times this year in Dorset. Swindon will have more than 5 heat winners for the return leg, and the top 5 are too strong for this weak looking Pirates seven. Will go 51-39, but hope it will be more of a match. 18 wins in 20 matches...superb Swindon. But not a patch on the 2012 headtohead, with Wardy, Holder, KK, Andersen, Killer, Batch, etc., the crowds have gone downwards. GO ROBINS!!!
  15. If Poole win 10 heats and still lose, not much chance at the Abbey.
  16. Nonsense tractric Derwent Park Workingtonbythesea Cumbria is colder than the Shabbey.
  17. Poole were 26 points ahead, and 3 little known Aussies Holder Ward and Doyle rode for Poole. Pawlicki Krackerjack and Bomber for Bees. Rosco's team were stone bottom then after a win at Swindon zoomed up the table.
