Rye House V Ipswich Witches 9th April
speedwaysliders replied to Baldyman's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Made my first visit to Rye for quite some time. On the plus side, looks like they have all the kit to produce a decent race track. The viewing is great,Rye look solid. On the minsus side ,no lighting on the way out of the stadium through the car park.!!,can someone tone down the 2 minute buzzer down, its quite loud if you dont expect it right next to you!!! Nice to see Robert Mear doing about 12 laps trying to sort out his bike problems, who knows can he double up?!! Trevor Swales was spotted with osterguaard.Must have been on a scouting mission for next week!!!! Just a quick word on the witches,as others have said Nico looks class, and you have to feel a bit sorry for Paco,he tried 100% even off 15m,Its the first time ive seen him,the amount of flak hes got on here i thought he was very unlucky tonight, and im sure he will come good. -

TIMO Lahti always has first class equipment, hes a gater, and the Leicester track would be ideal.Maybe he has other things planned ,but surely worth a try.

I couldnt care less if it rains, have they high tec track covers installed at the stadium for easy use.SOMEONE must know.Lessons learned from past call offs surely they would have built in motorized track covers, that allow working on the track while it rains overhead!!!!!! -

This is kinda getting out of hand, theres no way way rob deserved so much stick,he has his views like any of us on here, but Rob if you just explained yourself that you rubbed shoulders with eddie bull and world champions in both grasstrack and side cars, including the wigg family, you would be in a far better place,to help and answer questions on here about machinery, etc, just turn it around and stop banging heads with people.

Swedish Play-offs 2015
speedwaysliders replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
Thank god i got to see heat 14 before sky plus cut me off again!!! what was the heat result in heat 15,anything good happen?!!! -
Phillip is there any reason why the fans cant get simple tech details for the start of a GP? .Ie riders engine Tuner, make of tyres used ect.Simple stuff, that when im sitting at home i dont have to think for example is Greg on a diff tyre to anyone else,GM comes in kit form to the tuner,so it would be nice to see which tuner has got the best out of a GM engine on the night. It cant be that hard surely to find out before the racing starts.I know riders chop and change but just get someone on the night to find out which engine tuners are doing which bikes. Also its been a while now about the new engine chris Harris in trying, has it been serviced yet or has it been left alone as that was the selling point in the first place. Thanks in advance.

Coventry V Swindon - Wednesday 2nd September
speedwaysliders replied to NeilWatson's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
James Sargent has found a way to make a perfect start, either watching the magnets or he has great reflexes.I do feel sorry for him as hes clearly looking at something on the starting gate that gives him an advantage and hes been well and truelly battered for it.If he is watching the magnets on the starting gate, its the tapes themselves that are causing problems as at some tracks they go up so uneven, look loose,or go up with a bowed effect. In my eyes hes just unlucky that tracks are using naff old equipment, plus refs seem to be focusing on him. -
Was thinking along the same lines ,but Chris has had such a rubbishe week, the last thing he wants is me (stone last place!!)to put the mockers on him,so i left him alone. So for the 5th GP running its AJ £30 MORE .Message to AJ "please borrow one of Ashtecs engines he does for emil"!!! he wont notice!!

Squads (why They Wont Work)
speedwaysliders replied to heathen chemistry's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Until someone has the guts to try it we will never know.Denmark is interesting, for years they were well below every league in the world, with Danish "superstars" like N Pederson just riding for their local clubs, hardly making anything out of it.But now they have a squad system which has come from virtually nothing, with top foreign riders on their books.so how have they done it.Robert Lambert has just signed a short term deal with a swedish div1 club who have a squad system.Where have they got the money from to pay his wages? Pederson is also rides a couple of times in the czech Republic, how do they pay him?You just cant say its too expensive to have a squad system in the uk,go out and find ways of making it happen like the people in the examples above have done. -
King's Lynn V Coventry Wed 19th August
speedwaysliders replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Are sky allowed to interview the ref after the meeting? Can team managers come out after the meeting and tell the media what R Allan said to them regarding the double exclusion in heat 12? Will refs speak to fans after the meeting to clear situations up? Is there a referees report per match, where a ref has to say what actions he takes during heats? Like a lot of other people im completely confused what Ronnie Allan did in heat 12.if any of the above can happen it would clear the situation up straight away. -
