How old is Chris Harris? 40? Still a force to be reckoned with, especially when riding against Poole. A proper speedway servant to U.K. racing. Deserves a huge send off when the day arrives.

Good meeting on a well prepared track. Well to to Trackerman Terry! Closer than expected but in truth Poole through away a 5-1 when on the last lap Zach Cooks bike died, then a 4-2 when Drew was attempting a pass of Edwards when he overlocked it on bend two, got pinged over the high side and badly winded himself. He continued inthe meeting but was half throttle and unsurprisingly not near a point. Masters good value, and Pickering had a go but Edinburgh were never going to win. Special mention to Edwards who rode well and battled all night. Poole far too strong and even with Drew Kemp getting a nasty tumble we’re in control. Another Special mention to my rider of the night Ben Cook who was excellent. Saw off Masters and Pickering when Edinburgh made their t/r and then I heat 14 went fro. Last to first with two great passing moves. Next week sees Leicester in town and we can’t afford to have EFs and falls like tonight. Should be a cracker.

Edinburgh no threat but hopefully they make the gate and give our boys some passing practice. Masters is certainly good at Poole as is Pickering. 3 points to Poole.

No good for the club or the sport. I feel for Newcastle. Weak team made weaker by the injury to Kerr. Bare bones support and not likely to improve unless a NUFC player turns up every week for a meet and greet. Hope they survive the season.

Lambert is improving every year along with Bewley. Still young with lots of improvement left.

He should be walking it but his mistakes are great fun. Still expect him to win it.

This is diabolical rubbish. The thrill is to guess if the rider in blue is going to win or not. Have we seen a proper pass in anger after lap one? A couple. Perhaps.

Spoke to Brum promoter who told me the deal for second ambulance was £250.

Final was the best race in the meeting. Unlucky Kvech.

If Basso had remounted he would have been in the rerun. Idiot error.

Birmingham repeated. Bad for the sport when a second ambulance is £250. Poole next week. Too far to go to watch a few heats. Will Scunthorpe sort out the mess or will it be repeated?

Have to say the girl rider looks more butch than some of the boys.

This is now ridiculous. And the girl is going to get 2 points. Unless she also falls. As bad as the Swedish meeting last night.

Track is woeful. Rider has just signalled the riders are dolphining. Needs a break and bladed off.

Brennan would easily compete with the best of this bunch.

I have been to this track on two occasions for GPs and both times the racing was terrible. Tonight is no different, though there’s more dirt down and it rained. Best part of the Prague GP is the town after the event.

They want Poles to win it. Take away threats of decent foreigners.

I follow leagues in Europe. But there’s a few riders in this I am not familiar with. Watching the first 4 heats I can safely say some of these riders would not last in the Championship.

There’s a girl wildcard for tonight’s meeting or all three? Really. Seriously. I don’t mean to sound or be sexist though it will come over that way. It’s like an England ladies footballer getting a place in the mens England lineup. She won’t get near a point and has take a berth from a proper competitor.

Brennan might be wild card but won’t be in the running for the title. FIM should have included one Brit in the series.

Just spent 15 mins looking through and yes, the Swedish round was far stronger than the other rounds. For the FIM to run this series without a single Brit is frankly a disgrace, especially when you consider one of the rounds is Cardiff. Be lucky to get a few hundred there to watch it. Why on Earth not seed one Brit? It’s not as though Brennan for example would be tailed off! Some of these guys would never be able to hold down a team berth in the Championship.

No Brits in this? Surely some of our youngsters are better than many of these young riders! No point in watching it.
