A shame our new Signing Basso isn’t riding tonight. Forecast is good. Should be a cracker. -
Plymouth v Edinburgh Tuesday 3rd August

Absolutely. He posts the same line all the time. Clearly doesn’t understand a track can be fixed, bumps and holes can VE taken out to produce a very good race track. Agree with Mikebv that it was slicker last week, the first time this season. But no bumps or holes. -

Doubt this guy has been to<Poole. Our track is in excellent condition. Fast, smooth and a racers track. No hiding place for riders who fate then hold everyone up. They get picked off. -
Superb riding for a youngster to be honest. His battle with Lasse Bjerre and Jensen at 28.45 was excellent and his ride at 32.10 was impressive. Whether he will do well in much tougher company we will have to see but 5 points a meeting is his target. And Poland have noticed him. However he wants to come to the U.K. as it’s a guarenteed berth.

Be surprised if we lose this one. Edinburgh are definately one of the top teams this year but I think the Pirates will be too strong for them at home, unless complacency sets in and the way the team are riding I doubt that will happen. Should be a great contest and another good crowd on Wednesday. Of course it might well turn out to be a very different story on Friday when we are heading all the way up there. -
Pirates have just announced the replacement for Keleher at 2 and he will be riding all three meetings this weekend. Welcome to Poole Ben Basso. 20 year old Danish rider. Must admit I know nothing about him but he comes highly recommended by Nicolai Klindt and Freddy Jackobsen. A bit of a baptism of fire for the lad when he sees Edinburgh but I won’t expect too much from him this weekend.
