  1. Wouldn’t be ironic at all. It would be fine as he is an Ipswich rider. Clearly with all the bleating you are doing about hoping he would ride for Eastbourne so that in your mind Ipswich could gain an advantage with r/r, it isn’t going to happen. Tough luck. He is riding for Ipswich. Both teams at full strength.
  2. I hope Lawson is available to ride. Would be ridiculous for him to miss a playoff meeting. Though at the same time why should Eastbourne miss out?
  3. Sensible call. There was no point waiting for tomorrow and then cancel once the cameras had arrived and were in place. Saturday to Ipswich. Should be fun and hopefully produce a bigger crowd.
  4. Now we are a day away the forecast is much more accurate. Not much chance of this going ahead so best to cancel now and re-arrange it for possibly next Sunday afternoon. Don’t think any rider is elsewhere?
  5. Was selling by the ton yesterday in Cardiff, discounted from £16.99 to £15. But a heads up. But it can be picked up in Argos and Sainsbury’s for £8.99 https://www.argos.co.uk/product/2912859?gclsrc=aw.ds&&cmpid=GS001&_$ja=tsid:59130|acid:289-152-2757|cid:599609992|agid:24126986217|tid:pla-344528829103|crid:94168542777|nw:g|rnd:8135964876105954999|dvc:t|adp:1o9|mt:|loc:9045715&gclid=Cj0KCQjwt5zsBRD8ARIsAJfI4BhEgUrEOyFrGwAIUrnFisoNXedSa8G5AVu3D93FrFmoGMdJrryKpMoaAh3rEALw_wcB
  6. Shock horror cheapest tickets left are £50. Had to buy off tout. £55 ticket for £30. First time that has happened. Town very busy.
  7. Gavan doesn’t know is ass from his elbow. Swindon said they would pick Poole. Now we have given them something to worry about having to face Wolves in the semi.
  8. I paid £19 on the day last year from the ticket office. They will have thousands of cheap tickets. Always do.
  9. At least I am honest in my prediction. Seriously, we can’t compete with the Swindon top five or top two. Plus their reserves are scoring. Wolves reserves outscored us at Poole 21 v 1.
  10. We just imagined Wolves win at Poole a couple of weeks ago then? We are riding well above ourselves. Both Swindon and Wolves are way stronger, and you know it.
  11. You know as well as the rest of us that the winner of the Swindon v Wolves semi will be huge favourites for the title. With Douglas and Becker at reserve for Wolves it would be a major choke if they didn’t win it this year.
  12. Seems things were discussed at the interval. Couldn’t believe the turn around.
  13. So a repeat of last week with Ipswich back to Wimborne Road. Hopefully the track staff would have been working in that first bend bump. And turned it into a hill! Seriously this should be tight over two legs with Ipswich having a free practice on it already. But whoever makes it through this semi is going to be very much the underdog. Bring it on!
  14. Trackprat must be so frustrated. We still finish top with the weakest lineup in years.
  15. Both us and Swindon took advantage of a weakened Lynn side. If they had been at full strength neither us or the Robins would have got much out of our trips there.
  16. You enjoy the typo while us Poole fans can enjoy finishing top of the pile.
  17. What a huge turn around after the interval. Shows just how good Middlo is as our manager, getting the riders in the right frame of mind to do the job in hand. we probably won’t win it this year but we are still in there fighting to retain. #PiratePride.
  18. YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS! Top of the league, baby! My pessimism geed them up! Looks like we held on all meeting and Middlo did his magic at the break. We’ll probably chose Swindon now!
  19. Our problem tonight, with the scores at 30-30, is that we can’t get heat winners and both Cook and Lambert are unbeaten with 13 and 15 to come. Currently hanging on but not likely to get the win unless a couple step up.
