Look what happened at Poole last week when it rained. Home advantage out the window. Squeaky bum time in Penhill, Rodbourne and Walcott.

If the track gets wet before the start it will favour the away team and take away home advantage. Light rain/drizzle expected around 6pm from Met Office.

Just like last year we we smashed you out of sight in the final. I did notice you kept contacting Mike western on the centre green. As your own team are incapable of winning anything I guess you have to go down the road and support your main rivals to get any feeling of satisfaction.

Might have seemed loud to you but coming from the graveyard of Saddlebow Road, a local bowls tournament would be ear defeaning.

If Swindon are good enough, they will see off Wolves. What is there to worry about? There’s 30 heats for Swindon to win it. Poole finished top and took the first leg against Ipswich. On second thoughts.......Swindon are doomed!

The crowd was very quiet, even at the end it was no more than a few cheers and ripples of applause. I stood there on the first bend and witnessed it live. But really they are easy finalists. But for that rain at Poole we would have been there regardless of how poor we were last night.
