  1. I thought it was above average for a GP. Just didn't think it was spectacular as the commentators were going on. It was like they were on a mission to rave whatever the meeting was like. It was good but not as great as they were say (my opinion of course). There were a few good races. Holder battle with Crump and Emil, Kolodziej, Pedersen going backwards, Zorros win. By the way just a heads up. I thought that PL meeting at Scunthorpe last year was very good.
  2. Thought it was a slightly above average GP with a boring final to be honest. Didn't buy into Tatum and Pearsons ravings at all. A few good races but nothing to rave about like those two have. Brits disappointed as usual. Clear to all the Tai is currently miles out of his depth. Shouldn't really have got the WC. Harris suprised by making the semi so can't moan about that as its better than he usually does. Holder continued his Poole form by riding slow bikes. Put himself about but Emil went past him like he was standing still.
  3. Certainly does. And based in Poole when he comes over.
  4. Zorro will do just fine. He won't be in a final, but he won't be tailed off stone last. Capable of beating almost anyone on his day, and won't go there just to make up the numbers. 6 points a meeting is acheivable, and on occassions more.
  5. Chris Holder Champion!!! Sweet win in the final to win the title by a point after Batchelor stuffed him earlier. Well done to Ward fr making sure Batch didn't make the A Final.
  6. Just tuned in to watch the argie bargie between Batchelor and Holder. Batchelor off one and Holder off 4. Both gated together, and Batchelor went wider and wider off bend one so that Holder clipped the fence. Dirty hard riding and Holder was steaming. They came together after the race and the usual head butting of helmets and a bit of shoving and kicking. Very hard from Batchelor, left no room and Holder could have been over the fence.
  7. Why? We are telling the truth as we see it. He just had a go at you because you are meant to be a fan of his and Coventry.
  8. Terrible to chose Harris. In fact disgraceful. I would have chosen Eddie or Richardson over Harris any day of the week. Bomber has had his chance. in fact I would have chosen Nicholls over Bomber as well. These people don't have a clue.
  9. Glad to see fresh English blood in the GPs. tai was a dead cert and I for one am very pleased that BSI have gone against the grain, booted Nicholls and Harris into touch, and not gone with Richardson who had his day a couple of years ago and did nothing. Kennett is young, improving and British. I would rather he be in it than some non discript foriegner like Zagar. Eddie will try his heart out and while not likely to rock the boat, its a brand new fresh rider in the series and that is very important. I am sure he will not let himself down. Together with Tai he will do just as well as Harris and Nicholls have done this year. Lets face it they can't do much worse!! Good luck to both young Brits.
  10. Any news on live streaming for the plyoff meeting? I can't find anything.
  11. Wouldn't it just. Peole forget Crump is where he is because Nicki P got a bad injury which ended his chances of keeping the title. Crump benefitted there and now Gollob and Emil are doing the same to Crump as he did to Nicki P. And before anyone jumps on my I am not a nicki fan, just stating the facts of the situation. Crump doesn't have some god given right to win the title this year and injuries are part and parcel of the sport. I for one would certainly be celebrating a Gollob title in a few weeks time if by some chance it came off.
  12. Someone hasn't been to Poole in a long long time. As for the £250, sorry to disappoint but had a refund a week or so after the rules changed.
  13. I thuoght it was an excellent GP tonight. Good racing on the blue groove with plenty of close exciting action. Hans Andersen gave himself every chance of staying in the 2010 series, and Gollob has given himself a chance of pipping Crump ( please!)
  14. Great meeting tonight. Superb performance from Madsen, and the battles between Holder, Holta and Pepe were excellent. Zorro battled all the way just to lose it to Nicki at the death.
  15. Leon Madsen is flying. Going to make a great reserve for Pirates next season.
  16. He would have an eight average only if he was new to these shores. He would come on last years average. probably Sandhu has already been on the phone to him to come into the Bees 2010 lineup. After getting the permission from Matt Ford of course.
  17. To support me team? No other reason to go there. Racing at Brandon on the whole is rubbish. Read the thoughts of Coventry fans every week. They also agree that on the whole the track produces poor racing. What was it like last night? I wasn't there but there were plenty that were and the consensus is thatracing was again rubbish with hardly any passing. Looks like a lot of fans talk out of their backsides according to you.
  18. The whole series. The wildcard for Cardiff is the winner of the British Final. Just realised another almost identical thread has been started before this one.
  19. Well last night again proved there's not a single Brit who can mix it with the big boys. last night Zorro won it. hardly a top rider but he showed all the true grit that is lacking in british riders to pull off a shock win and qualify on merit for the 2010 GP series. No point in saying he isn't good enough/too old/brings nothing/a joke/don't like him etc etc etc because he qualified through all the rounds and then went and won the meeting last night. If ever a rider deserves it for true grit and determination it's Zorro. So whee does this leave the british camp? The backside of nowhere to be honest. harris and nicholls have proved themselves to be completely out of their depth at this level. harris had the hug advantage of riding on his home track last nght but never got close to the podium. Does he deserve another chance? No way. One fluke Cardiff win and that is it. never got close other than that. Niholls has had a torrid time this year and needs to be removed from the series. Time to bring in some fresh blood. My ersonal choice would be Woffinden or Kennett. Both are young and improving. They will do as well as Harris and Nicholls and will learn with a years experience in the series. No they won't win a round but they can hardly do any worse than the current two. Richardson had his chance and is no good at this level, Bridger needs another year before being considered. Plenty of time for him to improve. Thoughts?
  20. Don't think its much to do with the dirt. The track is not great for passing and perhaps the event should ave been held where the racing would be a bit better. Rarely been to Brandon and seen loads of passing in dozens of visits.
  21. Bit harsh on Mango. He won't win a round or make a final but will do no worse than Ulamek, Walasek etc. He battles and can gate. Well pleased for him.
  22. Way to go mango!!!!!!!!! What a great night to be a Poole fan. Holder in the GPs and joined by Pirates legend mango!! Cracking open the Champers I was saving for a special occassion. Nothing much more special than this!!!!
