  1. http://www.pliptv.pl/index_logged.php# Click the TVP sport button. Excellent picture.
  2. Free streaming from the Polish TV channel so far for the second meeting!! Ward just beat Emil!!
  3. Thanks saw the last two heats. Landslide away win. Looks like a sopcast is up again as well for the second meeting. Fingers crossed.
  4. Yes it looks like all the sopcast broadcasts have been removed. No live speedway today on the net. Unless anyone knows different.
  5. Nothing out there until the Bydgosczcz V Torun meeting on Sopcast at 7PM UK time.
  6. If Tennis is on the red button no problem but if its the speedway I am stuffed as I am at a wedding until 10 pm and like to watch it on the fast forward over an hour when I get home. Who gives a toss over some dour Scot with a personailty of a sweaty sock anyway? Edit. Yep its on the rd button from 8PM. Disaster. How many people actually care about some obscure Canadian tennis tournament? Sky have acalled this wrong. there are more speedway fans than tennis, and whilst Wimbledon is big news, this tennis isn't. If you are not on Sky Plus you have had it.
  7. Been a few times. Great fun. Stayed at the Byrda, City hotel, Pod Orlem, and rat sewer ( or something similar to that .not a great hotel!) All walkable to the stadium which is not far from thwe town centre. Went to Turn the following day and ended up in the presidents seats after swapping a TRick cap with the owner of the team. Never forget Mike Golding seeing us sitting there, by the starting gate in sofet padded seats, and wondering how the hell we did it! Managed to take to the president of Torun and got him and his family as well. A great day out. Flw to warsaw and drove buut never again. Also did Poznana to Bydgoszcz and don't bother takes too long, roads are poor. Easy to fly direct and pay the extra.
  8. Excellent streaming on tomcio. I can go full screen and it's still very clear.
  9. Shouldn't this be in the International section?
  10. Cracking meeting. Glad to see Lindback getting back to where he was a couple of years ago.
  11. Perhaps its finally sinking in with some peple that Bjarne hasn't been manipulating his average at all this season and has dropped by a two point standard. He has never got close to the form of recent seasons this year and being dumped out of the semi final was totally predictable. A shame that Lindback and Zagar went the same way though. Write off Adrian Meidzinski at your peril. The lad has come on leaps and bounds and could easily qualify over soeone like Holder who has never really mastered the Brandon track. Harris ( extremely unfortunately, doesn't deserve a berth) and Lindgren are nailed on. If walasek has his gating boots on he could easily make it, as could Bjerre.
  12. Found out last night the reason why Richardson isn't in the lineup. It's because the other riders don't like him. he doesn't get on with his fellow riders and Rob Lyon wants harmony in the pits and for them all to get on. So bye bye Lee. Ability hasn't come into it. Unbeleivable but true.
  13. Well whatever we say isn't going to change anything so will have to put up with this for at least this season before the powers that be can step in. We should always put out our best team. Orion is spot on. There won't be union jacks at Peterborrough flying from the stands. It will be white flags of surrender. And why have this at a track where GB struggle? Take it to Wolves and gve us a chance of qualifying. It's not as if the place is going to be packed out, is it? I would also like to add that I normally go to these meetings to cher on TeamGB, and would have been there for this but for going away for a couple of weeks this weekend. I DO want Team GB to qualify. I don't want to come on here and write "told you so". But the only way to avoid abject failure from failure that is to put out a stronger team.
  14. Sounds like another mistake of Jim Lynch proportions then.
  15. True, and Nicholls doesn't deserve a berth. But Ricko is having a blinding season. Far better than King.
  16. Rubbish,(to Gemmilou) riders need to earn their places in the team and just because they are young doesn't mean they should be given a chance. I am all for bringing in the youngsters, but surely you put your best team out for the WTC. If Lyon wants to blood youngsters, get some internationals organised.
  17. King a kid? We are waiving the white flag already with this choice. I said when Lyon was appointed it was madness and so it is proving. He has no experience outside the PL and it's showing through like a beacon..
  18. But Lyon obviously dosn't realise that. Perhaps someone should tell him. He is inept as that Charlie last season.
  19. Richardson has been Team GB's best rider over the last few seasons. You are not Rob Lyon is disguise are you?
  20. Richardson is currently our best rider. The guy doesn't have a clue.
  21. Well the team has been announced and the new Team GB manager has made the first howler, including Danny King over Lee Richardson. Nicolls I agree should not be in, but come on, King over Richardson, who is showing good form? Rubbish choice IMO.
  22. You are so wrong. Bomber had to go. No ifs, buts or maybes. He took Andersens wheel away and that was that. A shame but for some of th crowd to boo Andersen was farcical. Harris made the error not Hans. And personally I wanted the ref to call it wrong and put Bomber through but it was never going to happen.
