Hancock was never going to get him if he had stayed low but was obviously worried about Hancock around the outside. Lack of experience caused him to move out and Hancock took his chance.
Twice in two weeks he has lost the final due to reruns. Last week he was clear when Lindgren lifted and Zabik in third, then tonight well clear when Pedersen fell.
At least tonight he gated again, but never managed the lead he had in the first run of the final.
Still, top 8 now and riding well. Should make next years GP series without having to hope for a wild card.
