  1. So in the end Sheffield miss out because of a disgraceful ref decision on Ellis.
  2. You know what was missing? The Pirate roar and atmosphere. No atmosphere came over tonight on tv. Did you here the Sheffield roar as the number 8? Nope. As a final second leg it was quite flat, though pleased for the BV fans at the end. 29 years? Jesus! If I recall Poole whopped BV at Wimborne Road then BV went to Monmore and Wolves choked. Bobby Ott the hero.
  3. With Lambert in two of the last three, this is now Belle Vue’s to lose.
  4. Ref certainly seems on Belle Vue’s side. And I am a neutral.
  5. Big call. Tobias should go. Very tough though as Tobias had got under Brady.
  6. Trophy looks like it was purchased from the middle isle at Lidl.
  7. Utterly disgraceful call to exclude Ellis. He did nothing wrong but Brennan was on his way down. Brennan exc was the call but all 4 back at a squeeze. No way Ellis should be exc.
  8. Last time I was at Sheffield was for a wtc meeting in the rain with Loram getting injured. Can’t remember the year. Before that 1974 when Sheffield beat Swindon 45-33. Doesn’t seem to have changed much. People always raving how good the track is for passing. Looking forward to a Block Buster of the meeting.
  9. Neither Batch nor Hans would be considered. Too old and no improvement in them. King Ben Cook Lawson Zach Cook Abblit Hume a n other.
  10. Asked about this tonight. Glasgow have pulled out. Shouldn’t be allowed to imo but dates are Poole on the 26th and Leicester 29th.
  11. Poole confirmed Championship next season but would consider Premier league in 2024 if the Tuesday/Thursday only nights were dropped.
