  1. Id be very surprised if any of the riders that have a GM sticker on their kevlars will be the guinea pig in official competitions.
  2. We tried (not as fsp but as FMN rep) to get injury/case stats from the insurance company a few years ago, but they were not interested in helping us.
  3. I just cant be without asking... Deleted this post 2 already but need to know: Where did it state 16? In the ticket? Or in the kupbilet sales conditions?
  4. Not really keeping up... = ) When I get to it, "my" track will have mesh in the curves, and plywood on the straights. This would be ok according to the current rules. I'm expecting changes though during the winter... So we'll see...
  5. I meant early on in the gp season 2015. I checked/looked every bike at Warsaw SGP and the tech inspector at Tampere SGP confirmed me it was the only bike. So I had some confidence to say it was the only one, early on. Its legal for everone, Nicki is just the only one using such. And like said, hasnt done much good. I didnt make notes, but know/remember for certain that it records rear wheel rpm and GPS for racing lines. It had a couple of other features, which combined in a right and illegal way can effectively used as traction control. But the system has a FIM stamp on it and it's legal.
  6. It is a datalogger. The only one in the GP, at least early on this season.
  7. You said mesh fence on the straight, now you changed it to plywood. There's a huge difference. How thin it is, thats opinions. 4 mm is thin, 16mm is thick. In my professional opinion.
  8. On our forum over here one chap states, that the airfence's are part of the problem. These young guns of the modern world are somewhat used to hitting the airfence and standing up 5 mins later to just dust themselves and move on. The risks that riders take today are bigger than 15 years ago. I remember TRick saying ten years ago, that the next generation was already relying too much on the APD's and taking bigger risks. Now we have riders like Zmarzlik who's probably never even ridden on a track without an APD. Not sure but it's possible. So I guess it all depends on the time of day, which one is it more... Opinions and more opinions...
  9. Had Nicki P been wearing a neck brace in heat 18 in Gorzow GP, what would have happened? Nicki one way, head the other?
  10. Not sure if you mean me being stupid or without feelings...To an airfence, of course. Things happen though, its quite rare to hit the fence or airfence head first. And by head first I mean like a dart that hits the board with just a forward momentum. And even with airfences things have happened. They did not stop injuries all together. They've saved some and even caused some. Just read that there's an UK track thats making braces mandatory for its riders. What they gonna do when the first rider goes through the fence after hitting someone because he couldnt move his head like he's learned how it can move and did not see the other one coming?
  11. There's a thread on this in the general section. Much like with the airfence, there's no hard scientific evidence that a neck brace is a saviour. Now that I've got you wound up, show me the tests that report that the people that were thrown off a moving motorcycle in high speeds had a higher rate of walking away with bruising if they had a neckbrace. It's all opinions... If they were THAT good, everyone would have been wearing them for the past 5 years already. Everyone is not, so somethings up...
  12. Thanks. The said friend gonna go to this one, rybnik on sat and then bydgoszcz and torun on sun... Myself it seems I'm driving 420km this weekend and 380 the next (both one way) for a rainoff...
  13. Munkebo is supposed to have another home meeting on friday...
  14. A friend is looking for tickets to Torun vs Leszno on Sep 6th. Kupbilet has not listed that meeting, yet? Any ideas?
  15. The Finnish version I've heard so far says Härtel leaned on Partanen after Partanen had passed him and then fell. He did that two times more later in the meeting to others and I guess on one of them he was on double points. Basically the ref gave him three freebies, when infact he should have been excluded each time. That could be the difference between Germany and GB last night. Wasnt there, havent seen the incidents.
  16. Was browsing through SVEMO rules yesterday, Kylmäkorpi has "made" the book as it states there that a SVEMO rider will represent Sweden and wear a Swedish flag in all FIM competitions.
  17. And according to sportowefakty he won in Eenrum as Finnish... I'm way over my head in all this... Ball is rolling on the RJ case. Waiting for a reply on an answer to a reply of a question...
  18. The reason I noticed/picked up on this today was Gheorghe, who I happened to know was not originally Swedish/has not always been on a Swedish license. He had to have a SE license to ride in the 1 division, otherwise rule's would have been broken. Andorra people can ride in Allsvenskan and Elit without SE license.
  19. No need. What I was interested in was his license, and the Hammarby team list showed him as SE. So thats covered.
  20. And that was the answer I was looking for, as I had no idea that guest riders are allowed in 1. divison. Tackar.
  21. Griparna, not Hammarby. http://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/DrivingSchedule/CompetitionHeatSchema.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Season=2015&Serieid=739&Resultfilter=APPROVED&Columns=FromDateShort,Name,HeatSchema,HeatResult&pagesize=20&CompetitionId=5060
  22. Adrian Gheorghe, formerly of Romania has turned to a SVEMO license this year. He ride for Griparna in the Swedish 1st division. Or has he?
