  1. I went to Cardiff once in the first year and I walked out after 5 races - loads of others did as well. It was pants. Rubbish track, stadium barely a 1/4 fulI. i wouldn't bother with any other of the joke venues we have in the UK even if you gave me a free ticket
  2. No it doesn't. The only thing speedway fans are interested in is the racing. Nobody cares about the build up, having meals or what museums are in the area. Belle Vue is the only place in this country worth watching speedway in 2025. The previous venue was a total embarrassment between 2001 and 2024. End of story.
  3. Thank God. The damage that dump has been allowed to do to British Speedway is unforgivable and will take years to fix. Thankfully the healing starts now while the Cardiff sycophants cry into their dinners.
  4. 24 hours to go before Belle Vue begins to repair the damage done to British Speedway by the miserable hole in the ground in Wales. Can't wait
  5. Seems to be the Cardiff apologists who are begging for the Belle Vue GP to fail. Shame on them.
  6. Exactly. There is optimism and then there is delusion. This group fall into the second category. Its gone for ever. Accept it and move on
  7. Nothing because it's never going to happen. The site is not for sale as has been clear by Brandon Estates and even it was, restoration will cost millions- money this group simply doesn't have. Coventry Speedway is finished whether people want to hear it nor not
  8. The guy must be wondering why he bothered given the shambolic way Birmingham Speedway has been run since Tony Mole retired
  9. The guy must be wondering why he bothered given the shambolic way Birmingham Speedway has been run since Tony Mole retired
  10. Yet most fans i talk to that have been to Workington say the track is rubbish.
  11. Can't get why anyone would want to see Harris riding in a GP again. He's had enough chances over the years.
  12. Watch the last race of the British Final. Boring Glasgow (or any other track in the UK) couldn't put on anything like that if it tried.
  13. It is at Belle Vue. All of the other tracks in the UK is wouldn't bother with even if I got a free ticket
  14. Says a lot about how the quality of the GP has dropped when the likes of Kurtz are top of the leader board. 20 years ago he'd have been a middle order 2nd division rider at best
  15. And how long is that likely to last? Developers wanted to knock Oxford Stadium down before. Only a matter of time before they come knocking again. Same with any other track in the UK. Once a property developer bats his eyelids at a speedway track, it's game over I'm afraid.
  16. Deluded im sad to say. There's not a chance of this happening. It will cost millions to restore the site - money they simply don't have available. The current climate is not conducive to reopening a Speedway track in the UK.
  17. No thank you. Hell will freeze over before I pick streaming an amateurish production over getting off my backside and actually going to the venue.
  18. Grateful for what? It was dreadful year after year after year. Not one decent moment has ever come out of it
  19. If they were stupid enough to plan going to Cardiff then they get no sympathy from me. I hold that place responsible for the damage that's been to speedway credibility in recent years.
  20. Good riddance. No sympathy for anyone that bought tickets and hotels for that disgraceful event. The day speedway stood up for itself and gave Wales miserable hole in tbe ground what it deserves
  21. Won 1 world title completely on default. Might have been good on the trick track that was Monbore, but couldn't complete a lap anywhere else with falling off
