"Please give us our stadium back for our 150 fans. We've got some magic beans you can have". Deluded and pathetic
-
And where will their crowds come from? They've got NO chance
-
You've proved my point. Speedway (and the others you mentioned) were not viable, hence they chose to redevelop the site. Wimbledon previously closed in 1991 for exactly the same reason. And both 1991 and 2005 were periods when Speedway was in better shape than it is now! There is absolutely NO chance of Wimbledon, Coventry, Swindon, or any other closed tracks being revived and the sooner these campaigners open their eyes and get on with their lives, tbe better. Everyone is getting excited about Buxton - that won't last the season for exactly the same reason. Speedway. Is. Not. Viable.
-
There's no news because it isn't going to happen. There is no interest and it is not viable. If it had been, they would not have been booted out of Plough Lane
-
Another fantasy
-
I choose to only go to Belle Vue as it's the only track in the UK that is worth going to. My comment stands though. If I wanted to go to any other track, I would not snub it just to pay a kings ransom just to sit in front of a computer and watch it
-
So we have to have a race to the bottom because people want to find excuses not to bother travelling then? Brilliant.
-
If i want to go to a meeting I go to the venue. I will never spend a penny on some cheap and nasty production that's probably as polished as the second rate vcrs thag were being knocked out in the 80s.

No problem with TNT, but the other bunch of clowns need to be jettisoned. Its one of the worst things British Speedway has done - and let's face it, it's done some dozy things over the years.
-
First thing he can suggest is that we get people back into stadiums by ditching the loathsome BSN. Why do we have to have streaming that gives fans a perfect excuse to not bother? Get rid of it. Its rubbish
-
He will ruin the heritage of the world championship if he gets his hands on the trophy on Saturday. I hate him
-
No he won't. He's nowhere near as good as either of those two riders. The whole speedway world should unite behind Zmarzlik on Saturday to stop this clown from trashing the honour of being world champion.

They've got no chance

Please no one tell them about Workington - who have crowds of about 200 and had to shut their doors a few weeks ago despite being this so-called brilliant track.
-
Workington proves my point. They closed in 2018 because it wasn't viable, they've tried to reopen and are finding again that it's not viable. Simply not enough people are interested
-
Simple. Nobody with any sound business acumen is going to invest money into building a new or reopening and old Speedway venue just to please a few hundred punters who can't let the past go. Speedway needs to focus on what it has left now. The likes of Coventry, Swindon and Wolverhampton can argue all they like, but they are living in a fantasy world. They will NEVER reopen. Speedway. Is. Not. Viable.
-
Its realistic. Spirit has nothing to do with it. Speedway is never going to return to venues because a couple of hundred people (if that) start jumping and down. It simply doesn't have the money.

The same Oxford that there is speculation over the future of? Swindon have no chance
