Sam Ermolenko states in his book...every rider in the world pre the GP's could wake up on January 1st. and say "I could be World Champion this year"
Now only 15 can say that.
I have just finished reading The Sam Ermolenko Story and a really good read it was.
My word he had some nasty injuries in his time and his share of bad luck.
I haven't seen that so can't really comment. However, I can quite believe Nicki saying what Masters has accused him of.
Whatever the facts though...
,
to some people Nicki can do no wrong. To be fair, I feel the same way about Greg (with one obvious exception).
I am not defending Masters by the way.
There are those for whom Greg can do no right and for whom Nicki can do no wrong.
In the absence of a denial from either Nicki or his entourage the Masters statement is all we have.
Everything I have seen or heard of or about Greg and Nicki leaves me in no doubt which is the better person and the more worthy champion.
I would have expected a USA GP had it been held this year in LA, particularly with an American as reigning champion to have attracted a bigger crowd than most European GP's. Did not Terenzano have a ridiculous crowd capacity of 4,000.
Re costs...would transporting people and equipment to LA not be cheaper than going to Melbourne?.
Not much if anything to disagree with there my friend. If only they could get that track in to Cardiff it might be worth going.
Is not speedway an International sport spanning several continents?. In stead of why Oz...why not the US of A?.
What's with all this Hancock knocking?. Can't people just acknowledge what a superb 20 year record he has?. To score a 21 point max in a GP at 45 years of age merits applause, not the negativity some people are showing.
In my opinion it's a great pity we can't get that track in to Cardiff. For me the Etihad track had the edge over the Millenium. Is there no way more seats can be removed from Cardiff to increase track size?.
