The SEC has been a great series for the past 3 years and most rounds have produced better speedway than most GP's, for me anyway. If the British powers that be and OneSport got their acts together we could have a round at Belle Vue .

We have what was once a great product and what once again could be a great product, but British league speedway is a shambles. (In my opinion of course ).

They wanted to race here because this used to be the place to be. Now it is not. The people promoting and running British speedway need to go back to the drawing board. Make Britain the place to be and Tai, Nicki, Greg et al will want to ride here. A meaningful league with an attractive fixture list and offering value for money is vital if the decline is to be reversed. One league of 21 teams. All riders committed to British clubs. No d/ups. A worthwhile cup competition. 20 heats of speedway at every meeting. Run speedway the way it was run in 1965 and people may just find it attractive. Please...No dinosaur, fossil or old fart comments. If you disagree, fine but respect for others opinions costs nothing .

I have been saying for months the answers are in the past. You avoid past mistakes and repeat past successes. If things worked before and the current system is failing we need to rewind the clock. But...whenever I suggest such a move i am called a dinosaur or a fossil or an old fart.

I have to admit, having gone to Cardiff last year I was a little disappointed.

My local speedway team will have no British riders in 2016, having signed the following 7 foreigners... From Sweden...Bengt Fraim and Anders Aspanna From Russia....Ivan Adimov and Boris Nokdimova From Germany.Berndt Klutch From Italy........Cara Buretta From the USA...Kaz Trolar Should be a good season .
