according to his website multiple provincial and national titles in moto x before moving onto speedway, 2x hawks bay junior champion, East coast champion, won 5 main events while riding in the USA, 2x NZ under 21 champ plus being highest points scorer in the NZ league. And a good kid too, spoke with him a couple of times , seems very laid back and has been lucky with the equipment / transport / accommodation supplied by the Dugards.

Brad has won 7 NZ titles, this is Ellis's 3rd season at speedway

A thread for attention whores, can we get back to talking about speedway please? -
To be fair I think Adam first started in the PL when he was 16, he concentrated on the NL last year and did well in the U21's, I think he's gonna suprise a few people this year

A lot depends on BDJ, if it's going good he should be ok, but for a rider who gave up halfway through the season you have to question if he'll be there for the long run. If he puts half as much effort into improving instead of just being an NL journeyman and a bit less time focusing on his "media channel" he might show a bit of promise.. -

Greaves, nice kid but an accident magnet. Seems to have far too many crashes for someone so young. -
BWD is heading oop north with a good deal, I hope he can cut it in the PL, he's a nice kid, still rate Ellis above him any day

he's been around so long, all the gear and no idea. He'll probably pack it in if it's not going his way (again) and say "his head's not in it" -

Good for the Island i say, Johnson will turn up as flash as a flash thing, struggle to make it work (as he has done for years) then give up halfway through the season claiming "his head isn't in it" and go back to showing pictures of his tattoos on Facebook? -

Poole 2016

Maybe he has been approached by some PL clubs ? In last weeks SS he said he may not do PL and concentrate on international open meetings instead. Maybe he's looking at getting his face known abroad and pitting himself against better riders on better tracks, all bodes well for future development, really rate the lad, hope he manages to pick up sponsors for some good backing this season, he could come on in leaps and bounds -

Jerusalem should be our anthem, rousing stuff. -
Hope it goes well for him, if it doesn't go his way he may retire …. again

Apparently that was the case last year too until the CL phone call dropped a rider in the poo after reassuring him 12 hours earlier everything was ok. I'll believe it on heat 1 at the first meeting.

Slightly selfish but i'd love to see Adam Ellis riding for peterborough as it means i'd be able to see him very week. I really do rate the lad. -
I think it's not personal, although he's been whining on here and slagging of Ipswich / CL for the last few seasons, he's also being just as negative on other clubs threads ? I sometimes wonder if the lack of fans in the modern era is having to stand next to miserable sods like Mills on the terraces, It probably does more to put punters off than anything else.

Apparently it went bang big time, last meeting of the season too. If he was a foreigner they'd be appeals for help all over the place already -
New track record for Ellis in heat 5, (that's two in a week), heat 1 looked quicker, shame he blew an engine .
