Bt Sports Costs

starman says it's a rubbish deal. 90% of the BSF say it's a con and BT are charging too much and it's ok to steal BT Sport because of it. To some of us, £30 for internet, phone and 4 sports channels in HD is a bargain! -

There you go folks. Rob Godfrey doesn't have a problem because he battles to get to heat 10. C'mon Rob, we pay for 15 heats, battle to get to heat 15! -
Rumours at Brandon this afternoon suggest you don't need to worry at all about the start time as there won't be one for at least 4 weeks.

Coventry V Poole Es Second Leg 18/03/2016

1. It was a joke! 2. If he has scored 11 from his 4 programmed rides why wouldn't he get heat 15 and why could he not beat their heat leaders again? Tbh, I'd be happy with 6 from 4, really pleased if he gets 10 even with heat 15. And yes, he's capable of doing it. -
Exeter used to have 4 bends and 4 straights. As did the original Newport.

Taking away a perk someone (or a group) have had for years is not taking advantage. Taking advantage would be to charge OAPs more. Asking everyone to pay the same seems fair to me. -

That seems about right. And the max speed for infinity 1 is 39mbs so you're getting as good as you're going to get there. The current advertised price is £18 for line rental and £23 for inifinity 1 so you're getting a better deal than the standard price - that doesn't mean you can't get it for less if you give them a ring. -
Are you really comparing World Championship meetings with what was, at the end of the day to the riders, a challenge meeting that meant nothing. I bet PC wouldn't have raced a random open meeting if the track was the same. Carter maybe as the guy was sandwiches short of a picnic!
-
That may be true (and tbh, looking in I'd agree that it is) but I've never got why fans get so wound up about going to see p&p. It's not for the fans and frankly, it's as boring as hell!
-
Yes. The #8 can replace any rider in the 1-5
-
It's called press and practice. Not press, practice and something the fans to watch. It's purpose is for riders to practice and photographers to get a few pictures. Frankly, no, the fans don't matter where P&P is concerned
-
Youve just argued a totally different point. Well done. The point I made was that some PL fans claim the difference between the EL and PL is getting close. It's not. It's still massive. You don't need to lecture me about the mid-matched EL.
-
So once again an abysmal EL team gives a decent enough PL a thrashing but you can guarantee that PL fans will be claiming the gaps between the two leagues isn't that big soon!

I hope he scores 14 for us next week as a second string or I won't be happy -

So to confirm, you made a statement without actually knowing what was going on? You plonker. -

So Kurtz, Andersen, Buczkowski and Newman didn't pass anyone either? It was a good meeting with passing by both sides it's just Harris made the most passes. -

For a track thats a mess, slick and not good according to those from Poole it's been a good meeting that I've on periscope tonight. Been a few great heats. Harris has been blasting around the boards and must have made about 6 or 7 passes without a handful from the others. And bugger me, if the Poles is the answer what is the question? -

Thats a good point. And that stats over the last two years would agree with you apart from at Leicester. Weirdly, the stats disprove what I thought that Kyle was the more consistent and Jason more erratic as Jasons best and worst tracks seem to be closer in terms of average than Kyles. Statistically speaking Jasons worst EL track was Wolves A track he's beaten Woffinden at in the last 12 months. Where the stats do prove my point about consistency is Kyle tends to beat those you'd expect him to and lose to those you'd expect. By that I mean he doesn't tend to lose to lesser reserves or beat as many heat leaders. While Jason beat more heat leaders but is more likely to lose an easier race - in fact Jason is far, far more likely to beat a heat leader away from home. -

I would agree with that. I think Kyle is the more polished rider while Jason is the rougher around the edges rider. I think under that rough exterior though Jason is a better rider then Kyle but Kyle is not bad rider. Kyle always seems to have Garrity in hand at EL level. Kyle seems to know this as does Jason and Jason seems to over ride and go wrong as a result. As for who has most ambition, well I'm sorry but wanting to ride in the 1-5 is not showing ambition. Meanwhile riding in Poland and having travelled around half of Europe every other weekend for the last few years as Kyle has done doesn't strike me as someone who lacks ambition. "Ambitious" Jason Garrity withdrew from the World Under 21 qualis when he qualified meanwhile Kyle was racing in Euro U21s and anything else he could race in! Personally, I like both and would have both in my EL and PL team without a moments hesitation! -

I fail to believe any rider goes out to intentionally under perform for another team. Unless Matt was paying him for the 3-4 points per meeting less he scored last season?! More likely Hans had a bad spell. Some fans got on his back, Hans is a stroppy little bugger and this probably upset him. I fail to believe there was any intent to not score points. -

You say that but Kurtz is a massive signing. And as I said, we all know how good Newman is is too - he's as good as Garrity at worst and he's our 4th rider not 6th! Mind you, it'll be funny becaue of the format to see one of Watt, Hans or Buzz in reserve on a 6.5 average -

Honestly, yes. I genuinely think you might have the most successful EL team ever in terms of meetings won this season. I genuinely think your team is phenomenal. The last few years you've had good but not necessarily great looking teams that I expected the odd tweak to but this team is something else! 70 is OTT I agree but you should have no issues racking up 60 points most weeks. I'll let Matt Fords wallet decide if thats a good thing or a bad thing -

He's right. You have one of the better numbers 1s, a reaosnable number 2. Then you have 2 riders at 3 and 4 who are better than any other teams 3rd heat leader. Kurtz will see off every other number 5 (he's Aussie champion for Christs sake!) and we know that Newman is the best draft reserve as proven by his EL average the last 2 seasons. That leaves Ellis and I trust starman when he says he's in for a good season as Middlo will work wonders with him. Honestly, where are Coventry going to get points? Harris should get a few, King struggles against heat leaders but has to ride against 4 of them tonight, Garrity is only the level of your reserve but he's our 4th man, Woryna isn't even as good as your reserves and then our reserves who are both a similar level to your number 7. Pooles team is pretty awesome, it shouldn't come close to losing at home and frankly I doubt it'll lose many away. -
Because it's a students price. Not a "poor students" price. What next, tiered pricing based on how much you earn or how much you have in your bank account. A student is a student.

Speedway, tapes and chalked white lines. When is it going to move into the 20th (I know it's the 21st) century and use transponders?!
