  1. No, you're wrong. Bates is the tier 1 rider. No idea how it was decided. Wasn't too bothered as I don't think it makes much difference.
  2. So you want 2 sets nights, where between the two the riders have to fly into Sweden and back. On a night that a lot of riders don't like having to ride here because it means going Poland, GB, Sweden. And you don't want to use the two nights that 6 out of 8 EL teams use but in stead would rather use the two nights that 2 teams use? Thats a huge logic fail. IF the EL goes to two nights it has to be Thursday and Friday. Can't have Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Saturday as it clashes with Poland, Sweden, Denmark and the GPs. That leaves Monday, Thursday and Friday.
  3. He did. But the few he did (about 3 or 4) he was something like 10th in the averages of all riders who rode at 1,3 or 5. Suggests he is of heat leader standard. Where as based on number of meetings raced as a heat leader, he's not one..... Yet based on riding in the SWC ahead of Craig Cook who is a heat leader..... This is where the BSPA literally making things up is a joke.
  4. The BSPA could come up with anything so I won't argue but I fail to see how MJJ isn't a heat leader. I couldn't even point out that Lambert should be a heat leader based on the fact that of all riders who rode ass a heat leader he was one of those biggest average riders - certainly better than Danny King!
  5. Excellent news. I truly hope they can build a competitive team.
  6. Owing to the fact heat leaders are done on feel and opinion you have 4, maybe 5 in that team. No chance.
  7. Why a Monday and Wednesday? Only 1 team rides on a Monday now, ditto Wednesday(allegedly). While Coventry, Lakeside and BV ride Friday and Leicester allegedly want to. Swindon and Lynn(allegedly) will ride Thursdays. Makes sense for Wolves and Poole to fall in line and switch to Thursday and Friday.
  8. would that be the same BSPA that had guidelines last year saying riders were 5s when they were 7s? I'd not be trusting them, I'd be going to the UKV&I myself!
  9. So just to confirm, I think he crap and won't get 6. You think he is not crap but won't get 6 either. But it's my comments that are LMAO? Cmon, if he won't get 6 in out second tier he's crap! That's puts him in the bottom 25% of foreign riders, thats crap. Out of curiosity, where is 5 coming from? If Aussies come in on a 7, why is it not 7? Is there some agreement that has not been made public?
  10. hes failed to qualify for a work permit twice. That's pretty crap. And I think you'll find I pointed out months ago hed qualify this year. Any rider who wants a work permit will get a place in a state final final. They'll all be fiddled! All those Workington fans who think he's any good will be happy to takers bet then. I have £2000 that says Campton doesn't average 6, can be split between you. Put your money where your mouth is. I don't expect you to, nobody ever does on here. You all mouth off but nobody ever back it up with money.
  11. Oh you're funny the only person over rating MJJ is you so you can when he's not great. MJJ has put his average up every season he raced EL.
  12. Theres being stubborn and there's losing thousands of pounds by having a poor team that nobody will pay to watch. You also lose them fans from future seasons too. At least by pulling out you don't damage the clubs reputation with the fans, in fact by not having any speedway for a year they may be excited when it returns next season. I'd suggest it's better for the promoters to give Leicester back the bond now before the season starts than force Leicester to race an lose a fortune.
  13. Kerr and Sarj (or Bates) is much stronger than Bates and Sarj. I'd welcome the change. Would take us from weakest pairing to one of the stringer pairs.
  14. I think the implication is that Leicester may not be in the EL.
  15. I can only imagine how great watching Charlie around Plymouth will be. A decent signing who should be great to watch even if it goes wrong.
  16. Masters not special or likely to improve? He's the best signing you've made this winter. As for comparing him to Pijper, nah, different class.
  17. He's trolling you TBH, I hope it is Nicki and not Bjarne. Much more fun from a fans POV.
  18. Lynn fans have heard the name Pedersen and assumed it's Nicki. Try Bjarne
  19. Worried? Most of us know our teams crap.
  20. Look at the Poole fans getting worried
  21. Don't get me wrong, I agree that TR is in an awkward position on this one. But don't have a go at the fans for questioning things, especially when it turns out weeks later that they were right to questions things. Maybe in that instance "stay quiet" would have been the best advice he could have been given. Also then knowing that was unlikely, why host a farewell meeting? I'm still not convinced we'll see a new stadium this season.
  22. Yeah and come out with this pearl of wisdom.... "Ask the Newport, Reading and Oxford fans. The stadium cannot be knocked down until the new one is built so we have speedway". Would that be the same Reading and Newport that dont have new stadium but have seen old ones knocked down? I'm also confused, how can they go from one to the other mid-season if the new stadium is being built over some of the older stadium?
  23. It's a fact he done 2 seasons. It's a fact he's not yet got a 5 point average. I have already corrected myself as I said 3 season initially, rather than try and hide it, I edited when I found out I was wrong. The opinion is he's crap.
  24. Yet amazingly with the information available to us, the fans predicted that them timings were rubbish as they did with BV. Funny that
  25. Starke to sign for Somerset. Leicester to switch to Fridays. Starke to be the rider in question. Well thats my guess anyway.
