But it will push Harris, KK, Doyle, Holder etc up a bit too.
-
No we're not missing the point. The point is that theres been a cock up. The point is that things are not fair. The point is Leciester are buggered but people like you don't care because all is well at their won club and things will never change due to this self interest,
-
KK and Harris won the EL pairs in 2010. Since then the EL has been watered down season after season. As a pair I'd say they're easily the best in the league. After Doyle whatever other is better than either? Maybe Zagar but thats border line, nobody has two riders better than them and most won't have 1! Thats this teams one saving grace, a brilliant top two you can rely on for TRs and heat 15s.
-
What don't you get about clubs like Leicester being fecked? All because the BSPA have been so stupid? And youi really think everyone started equally when the draft reserve come in on PL averages? Oh bless you. I've said I blame over promoters too, try reading you bloody moron.
-
While Wolves need a number 1 and a number 2! I can't believe a Wolves fan criticizing another teams heat leaders. You haven't got any! Yes you'll almost certainly beat Coventry at second string but our heat leaders will easily beat yours. you have Lindgren whos got worse every season for about 6 years now, Bech who has never hacked it as a heat leader, Kylmakorpi who was only average at best as a heat leader, Thorsell who crapped out riding as a heat leader and Masters who has never been a heat leader. Meanwhile we have a guy who with bonus points has been top 6 in the averages 2 years running and a guy who was World number 2 last year. Our weakness is most certainly not heat leaders but the fact we don't have a 4th rider or a strong reserve, I know this, I have pointed this out a few times.
-
I've already said elsewhere that I don't totally blame Matt Ford for this. I blame the BSPA as a collective. They're the mugs who have voted in too high a points limit, voted in a rule that gets Buzz to second string and voted in a rule that brings in draft riders on their converted PL averages. They're all mad. But there no denying that just about every rule has benefited Poole to the detriment of others. It's ok Starman being all smug (look up 6 posts) but some of us like to look at the bigger picture and killing off Leicester to Poole can win is not good. Poole need to win has also more or less killed off Peterborough as an EL club and could see Coventry killed too. But it's ok, Poole have all those nice shiny trophies, the issue is that in a year or twos time a league of Poole and BV won't be much fun!

The point was someone asked a polite question, all he got back in response was some arsey response that didn't help. Made those making a response look childish. As you say, it has clearly been looked into, it has clearly been handled so someone, somewhere should be able to answer. You on the other hand chose to get defensive. That has been the case from the start with this project, some people have got very defensive about something they really have had no need to do.

Poland 2016 Season Extraleague News
SCB replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
But isn't that played most days? Rather than Sunday afternoons which is the issue here. Out of curiosity, who are the riders who look like being left job-less due to clubs closing? -
Genuinely worried about Leicester now. Losing Doyle was a killer blow but I hoped maybe a kick up the backside. I then assumed they'd get KK as they really needed him. Now to lose Masters too. What left for them? I stand by what I said last month, a 40.5 point limit is too high, 38 was much closer to where it should have been. How sad that the morons running the league seem to have missed this and have potentially killed, or at least put the knife in and left it on life support, Leicester speedway But it's OK Leciester fans. Poole have got Krzysztof Buczkowski (you know, the guy you had as second heat leader 2 seasons ago) as a second string within the rules and are going to be fine building upto a 40.5 limit plus they have the bonus of Newman on a bargain average in reserve so the Poole fans will be happy.
-
It's not about Masters himself being a good signing or not. They were promised "gobsmacked" and they have got "meh, ok". But "meh, ok" when their 3 heat leaders are "eugh, well we need something special now!" Still, it does mean of the two completed teams I'd give Coventry a very slight edge. Joy of joys!

Confirmed Elite League Signings 2016
SCB replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
60% of 5.58 then a 2.5% recuction is 3.27 -
I bet you did well in your GCSEs, "prove that..... " "Well bugger off mr examiner, if it's not true then you'd not be asking the question would you?" This may shock you but you're posting on a discussion forum, people ask questions, people answer them, People discuss the answer. They don't just reply, "BECAUSE I SAID SO" I can just imaging someone asking, "so when is the first meeting" and a few BV fans jumping in with, "oh FFS, it's happening, get over it" rather than just giving civil answer to a civil question.
-
Well they're over egging that one. When was the last time a rider went from NL to PL an averaged 5? As thats what he has to do to be a "minor" singing. Id suggest he needs a 7 point average to be a "major" signing - we're talking Woffy, Kennett and David Howe levels of success. He averaged about the same as Ellis, Morley, Clegg and Branford. not one of them hit a 4 point average in 2015, in fact one of them was sacked averaging less than 3, one of them couldn't get a PL place and one of them in his 3rd season of PL racing coudln't get a 4 point average. I think BWD is being set up for a big fall.
-
And you think the bikes he has in Argentina to beat all them big star riders will be any good? I'd imagine that the bikes used in Argentina by any rider are a bit rubbish for the simple reason there are no top riders over there to sell their old stuff to the riders below them. Sound more like PR bull to me.

TBF MattK is making fair points, between the capital, interest and business rates this stadium needs to make a lot of mine each year. I don't think it's unreasonable for people to ask questions. There must be answers.
-
Seen him 3 times. Nowt special about him at all.
-
He was never all that good. He averaged about 4.5 for Wolves early on and that's about as good as it got for him. Signed for Coventry in 2010 but got injured early in and replaced by Pawlicki. Went on he ride PL for Somerset averaging about 6 from memory - highlight of his career was winning his first ride in the Gelsenkirchen GP, before failing to scored in his next 4 rides.
-
Ah, another duff foreigners (Garcia) given another chances. Yay! Not sure Luna is a very good signing either - why sign him rather than keep Sarj? I'll admit I've not look to see if he fits but even so, Luna in the 1-5, eeek. Very good top 3, Worrall is not bad, Ayres is ok but Luna and Garcia seem like plugging a very tight gap sort of signings.
-
Or signing Sowka and Sunmers when you could have signed much better riders. Coventry fans were certainly gobsmacked by our last two signings.
-
I answered a reasonable question in a polite manner. It's what most people do you moron.
-
Neil Watson has categorically stated, and confirmed when asked they were the heat leaders. Fine if you don't want to believe him. It was also confirmed that we had 7.3(? Ish) left for a second string.
-
The Coventry promotion have confirmed that KK, Harris and King are heat leaders. Wolves have confirmed Kylmakorpi, Bech and Lindgren are heat leaders. Ford/Poole have apparently announced that Buzz is not on the list. After that it's guesses unless anyone can confirm what promoters have released elsewhere.
-
Who are the 5 or 6 negative posters and let's see some examples of their negative posts - that's proven to be negative.
-
Whats a joke. 18 names on the list yet Danny King who has raced less meetings as a heat leader than 34 riders in the last 2 seasons is on the list. He's also only averages 4.8 as a heat leader. All try more remarkable, Horton signed him!!
-
And there's some wildly inappropriate optimism in that post. Some of that you have posted is factually incorrect for a start. And some of it the facts suggest won't turn out true. Can you not see the madness of signing a rider on a 6.5 average to ride in a position that he only managed to average 4.8 in last season? Yet unlike last season we don't have someone to cover him at #4 and average 8 while he's doing it. In stead we have a young Pole who when you look at Dolgins Rankings is rated around he level of middle order draft rider. We basically have 4 riders who are of draft level standard and it's not like if we're struggling a few weeks in we can sign a 6.5 rider like last year. They're all heat leaders. We have papered over the cracks the last two years having Garrity in reserve. By not convincing Jason to stay in the draft we messed up there. There is no logical reason for Jason not to be in reserve so why could out management team (which consists of more people than any other EL clubs as I see it - Horton, Watson, Havelock and Rogers) convince him not to be in reserve? As for Woryna being another Pawlicki, based on what? As it's certainly not his Polish form and watching videos of him from Poland, he doesn't have he style for UK tracks. You'd think Havvy would have pointed this out, or maybe he has and his opinion has been ignored?! This team is a shambles.
