On the grounds thats hes a lovely lad who tries his best.

I know I'm a bit late but HaHaHaHaHaHaHAHa! Either Vaculik played Matt Ford or Matt Ford lied to his fans. HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa! Would only ever ride for Poole, yeah, HaHaHaHaHaHaHa!

The SWC works because in every race YOU have a rider in it. In a pairs there are heats that just don't matter to you, it's also difficult to follow who is winning. Te SWC is great, I love it. A pairs? Nah, stick it. Or maybe host earlier rounds in the UK where people seem to back any old speedway. Unlike the Poles and Danes who only care if it has Poles or Danes in it. Just why does Woffy have to ride? As pointed out, we qualified for the final in 2017 without him. Sod him. I'd love it if we did ride as I honestly think we'd stand a chance but if he doesn't want to ride? So what?
-
Yet they have just signed 9th in the World Vaculik. Hmm
-
When I first heard the news I fell about laughing. Matt Ford comes out with a load of bull and the likes of starman fell for it 😂😂

You have to be a promoter* to own riders. Rick doesnt own a club so unless hes sold Hans he belongs to the BSPA *you get three years to sell riders when you sell a club.

Going back to Holder, its claimed (rightly) 9th and 10th almost always get a wildcard but lets not forget than Hancock, Pedersen and Iversen missed rounds and at least Hancock would have finished ahead of Holder so in reality he was 11th best rider in this seasons GPs, possible 13th in Iversen and Pedersen has been even slightly better than crap which isnt impossible. Afraid hes ruled out for me. Hancock, Vaculik, MilĂk and one of Pedersen or Iversen, Iversen probably the better rider, Nicki more likely to do something silly and entertain us. The loser of Pedersen/Iversen as first reserve, followed by Lebdevs and Fricke

I dont see what Godfrey has done wrong. 1. Member of BSPA want to break SCB rules. 2. MC member of BSPA advises the member that in his opinion the SCB will give him a slap on the wrist so go for it 3. The SCB actually properly punish the BSPA member Ged took Godfreys advise, it was only ever advice because Godfrey isnt the SCB or anything to do with the SCB.

No, PC wants to get in for free with 100 mates. Thats not reasonable, why should his mates get in just because they're his mate? If he had reasonable demand for ex-BV riders of a certain standing to get in I think people would agree, but this isn't about ex-riders, it's about his mates.
-
The issue is where do you draw the line to these free riders at BV? Does Michal Rajkowski who rode a dozen meeting 10 year ago get in free? What about Karl Mason who did a season in the NL? What about someone who rode 12 meetings as a guest over a period of time but not in a single season like Rajkowski? What about that Pole they had about 10 year ago who did about 3 meeting before being sacked because he was a danger? What about Tomasz Chrzanowski? He rode 3 meetings for BV in 2009 and scored a point in one of them meetings. The idea that all ex-riders get in free is madness. There has to be some cut-off. I'm really not sure what Peter Collins' issue is here, he's been given 5 passes, what more does anyone think he can realistically expect? I would hope that any speedway club would do the honourable thing for any club legends but any less than 4 or 5 season riding for the club and I think you're pushing it to expect free entry.

This Sums Up The State Of British Speedway For Me...
SCB replied to Gresham's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
NSSC do this now, the only difference is that its every two weeks and its all year. And its well supported, certainly when they do quizzes and have certain riders/promoters their who are known to give very open and honest opinions. -
The solution as I see it, if the promoter won't pay for the series reserve to travel out is to have the series reserves as the meeting reserves. Some will say, "year but then the Aussies will get less riders" I'd counter that with they have had far more riders in their GPs to date anyway to last a good few season yet!
-
It has been "explained" but the explanation is wrong. The Aus titles were used to decide the wildcard and two meeting reserves, fine, great. What the Aus title was NOT for was to decide the series reserves for the final round. Watt can be a reserve thats up to MA/BSI/FIM but the replacement for Iversen should be the declared GP reserve riders. We have 6 of them now, so where are they all? And nobody give me the bullrubbish that they couldn't get there, BSI/FIM should be sending the series reserves out with the rest of the field, it's a World Championship, not a travelling circus.
-
Only a mug believes that. Why did most of them put their prices up the following year then? And theres no rule about how much clubs charge, they can charge what they like. This is one of them bull$hit stories where someone tries to blame someone else when the fans have a go at them for weakening the product and upping the cost.

This Sums Up The State Of British Speedway For Me...
SCB replied to Gresham's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Must admit, I do find it odd that a speedway promoter considers a speedway meeting more pointless than an end of season party. Next time she complains about fans not turning up just tell her that everyone has gone out for a meal. -
If updates is stopping people from going then how utterly $hit must your product be?

Sheffield V Redcar Now Monday 23/10/17 @ 7.30 Sgbcl
SCB replied to Blackadder's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
How many fixtures did Scunthorpe have left before he went home? -
Id just change the rules that if you don't touch the tapes then it's fine. What really annoys me is a rider rolls, another rider rolls and touches the tapes. The tape toucher is excluded. Yet the race has already been stopped because of the original roller. If two riders touch the tapes its the first one excluded, so surely of one jumps and causes the other to touch the tapes the tape toucher is innocent as the race has been stopped?

SCB replied to Blackadder's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I get riders being injured, Redcar are just unluckily in that respect. But riders going home or on holidays during the speedway season? The BSPA have to clamp down on riders not being available, the current rules mean the riders get away with it if the club don't use a facility but it shouldn't be allowed. -
No Aussies In British Speedway 2018
SCB replied to rocketman77's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
How? Nobody would notice any negatives if we did ban them. Yet we'd have less meetings called off. Just what do the Aussies add that would make the league poorer without them? The ability to complain as soon as a track is not dry and snooker table smooth? -
