  1. Booing? So what?! A bit of banter/abuse? So what? Throwing things? Nope, not needed. As for, "why did Freddie do it?" And "how silly he could have got a GP medal", actually, fair play for him treating a league race like it does matter, fair play for giving it his all. I think he's a menace on a bike but we need them riders to give stick to and dislike.
  2. Lindgren at fault for me. Its acceptable to lean on someone but if you get it wrong you should go. Thats heat 14 at Wolves and heat 13 at Bv where Wolves riders have leaned on BV riders, got it wrong yet got re-runs.
  3. That 1 point difference, if BV had a team manager who was actual capable of managing them they'd have won. Why was Cook used against Lindgren? Why was Worrall sent out so soon after a bad ride? Had he just swapped Cook and Worralls r/r rides around then it would have been the difference. Lemon just seems to constantly miss the obvious and make tactical blunders. If he's not making the best tactical moves he's not appealing when clubs break the rules against BV. In any other sport Lemon would be sacked. Mind you, this is speedway, all other options for team manager are at least equally as inept.
  4. Same here. Can't fault it. Spot on picture on my tele box.
  5. I love how people are quite adamant that one team or the other is favourite. Theres very little in it, I'd probably back Wolves right now but BV's top 4 can all go unbeaten - TBH Bewley has gone close a couple of times too (including vs Wolves). Honestly think this could go either way
  6. For someone trying to claim pedantry you're doing a poor job. This is simple, are Poole in the play-offs? No. The rule says, "No Rider, whose Team is in the Play-Offs may appear as a Guest in the Play-Offs." not, "No Rider, whose Team was in the Play-Offs may appear as a Guest in the Play-Offs". It another example of the crap rulebook, but reading it as written, the rulebook says that Hans can guest for Poole.
  7. Are Poole in the play-offs? "18.12.6 No Rider, whose Team is in the Play-Offs may appear as a Guest in the Play-Offs."
  8. TBF, I'd argue Hans' team isn't in the play-offs (they were, they're not now) and thus he is eligible to guest according to the rules.
  9. Yet Jack Holder was allowed to carry on riding
  10. Your meeting was rained off 10 days ago, maybe you should have rearranged it sooner 🤷🏻‍♂️
  11. If you don't run your regular league fixtures before the cut off then it's tough. BV should be told, run it before Monday or forfeit the tie.
  12. You realise the crash was shown on TV right? And it's on YouTube for people to watch over and over again? And Tungate did NOT lift. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qextz0jJmQM Watch at 2h 26m and 9s and it shows Thorsell leaning over Tungate, which he's entitled to do but it does show its a 50/50 incident. The more I watch it, the more I think I'd have excluded Thorssell actually.
  13. Not a great record for a World Champion but hard to argue with the record as a GP rider. He deserves a wildcard looking at them numbers. Quite simply, he IS a top 15 rider in the World and thats all that should really matter.
  14. Am I the only one who thought that heat 14 was 50/50? Thorsell was cutting back as Tungate was drifting out wide. Sadly for Tungate his earlier moves taint people views and he's seen as dirty/reckless. I normally like/praise Monmore but theres no doubting that last night was crap.
  15. Out of curiosity, how are crowds looking at Redcar these days? Are things picking up at all?
  16. The word legend is thrown about far too much in life but where PK is concerned it's true. As a rider I used to pray he'd miss the start at Monmore just because you knew you'd see a master class. He wasn't a guns blazing, throw the bike around but a methodically, text book rider. Where as at Brandon there were times he wasn't the fastest but atching him put the bike in the perfect place to stop faster riders getting past him without even a tiny bit of dirtiness was a sight to behold - as a Bomber fan it would be frustrating to watch him block Bomber run but he knew exactly where to be every lap, every bend, every time he entered a corner and come out of it, a true master class in track craft. Over the years it's been an absolute pleasure to watch PK and I can honestly say there has not bene a single time I have ever had anything remotly bad to say about him and I don't think any other rider can claim that! Any young riders starting out could do a lot worse than look at how PK has handled himself throughout his career. Utterly professional while still maintaining a air of fun around himself. I just hope he continue to hang around the sport and pass on his vast knowledge on to the youngsters. All the best PK!
  17. How many of those have been forced out and how many don't want to be here? Most of them have gone on record as saying they don't want to be here. A few have said they would only ride here if we have fixed race nights, so let see how many are true to their word, I'll suggest not many!
  18. It was parked up at Coventry a few years ago on one of the hangers there. No idea if it ever actually saw any action. Best way is banked track son the rain/water runs off it!
  19. This is how it should be. More teams should be full of local lads. If Cook is riding PL then hopefully he's back and if not maybe Lawson could come back or is that unlikely? Imagine a team of mostly local riders doing well, surely thats what the fans want?
  20. Exactly, I'm amazed anyone can think Holder was not at fault. His foot wasn't even on the footrest! OK Kildemand has form but in this case Holder was 99% to blame.
  21. Surely if a rider moves he race is stopped, so no rider can subsequently touch the tapes? Why is the referee screwing this up so badly?!
