  1. Doyle issue used to be he'd fall off while leading quite a lot. It was as if he could only ride 100% and doing anything different resulted in falls. Maybe he knows this and its why he is always giving 100%?
  2. Rewatch heat 1 as both are in it. They both let the bike roll but they moved their body back, watch their bikes and not them. And they both did it all night. Heat 5 he rolls back before eeking forward both times.
  3. Why does this always shock people? Anyone who gets upset about this I always read as, "I post stuff I know is wrong. Don't listen to me" 🤦‍♂️
  4. TBF I imagine a lost of the cost is parts. An engine turner can magic parts up from nothing and it's worn parts that slow engines down and need replacing when a bike is serviced.
  5. Anything over than Lambert in reserve would be utter madness. How anyone can even think to do anything different amazes me. It's Jason Garrity/Gary Havelock logic that cost Coventry last season FFS.
  6. Regarding the starts. Surely if Kildemand was adjudged to have jumped the start then the race was stopped at that point. So how was Doyle also punished for touching the tapes? And if Doyle was done for touching the tapes then there was nothing wrong with Kildemands start?! And what about Magic and Hancock rolling and jumping all night?! Hancock jumped both runnings of the final.
  7. Tai always seems to be the same when he misses the start. Goes wide and tries to cut back, almost as if he's not willing to ride going around anyone. Very Hancock-esq but the difference is Hancock often find himself in a good position down the back straight. When Woffy is on it he looks like the best rider in the World by half the time he just looks content to just do "well" rather than perform his best.
  8. Utterly mad that we didn't give him a place. I just assumed it was because he was going to get one in the later rounds.
  9. Those figures DONT show how watered down things are now, they should bow watered down each team was back then because there were so many teams meaning talent was spread around more teams. More teams means more riders with high averages.
  10. People pay for 15 heats and thats what they should get. Unless a result is guarenteed then no meeting result should be awarded before heat 15. Heat 12 was just about acceptable but heat 10 (and now 9) is a joke. Give it enough time and they'll be running speedway as 10 two lap heats and charging us £20 for it.
  11. FFS. So Speedway is now 9 heats, unless you're lucky and you may get anything from 10 to 15 heats. They wonder why people stop going, its because people want to see 15 heats! Oh and the result wasn't certain, it was still possible for Redcar to score 39 to Glasgows 32, meaning it was still possible for Glasgow to leave with nothing.
  12. A rider walking out of his club because he's retired (or sulking) is not the same as a rider leaving because he wasn't paid. I'd not ban any rider who has not been.
  13. Hans signed for Coventry, not Peterborough! Sheffield are probably not using a facility. They can only have a NL rider as a guest anyway. Or they can chose to go down thew route of "no facility" and use a 2 point NL guest. Had Scunthorpe not claimed Josh was withholding his services and decided to use no facility then Josh could have rode yesterday.
  14. Piszcz and Gustafsson both got 14 days ban for riding in their home countries leagues so there appears to have been some consistency there. As for Hans, I'm sure he was given 28 days but on appeal brought down to 14 because he wasn't being paid.
  15. Except 4 of those in my list returns to their club and two only didn't as 28 days meant their season was over. You get a 28 day facility as the riders is banned for 28 days. It's the way it has always worked. Until now obviously.
  16. It most certainly was NOT only 14 days in 2005, ask Kylmakorpi when he quit Peterborough when he wasn't getting paid that year. Or Zagar at Reading in 2096. Or Hans in 2009 (Also Peterborough). Or Matej Kus when he raced in the Czech Rep in 2011. Or Thomas Johnasson at Swindon in 2010. Or Jurica Pavlic at Swindon in 2009. Or Lebdevs at Lynn in 2013. KK at Brum in 2011. David Howe at Scunthorpe in 2012. Hampel at Ipswich in 2008. Coventry were told in 2014 if MJJ didn't ride at BV, he'd get a 28 day ban. I can keep going if you like? It's madness to suggest that next week Auty could sign for Newcastle and ride do them while Scunthorpe in the same meeting have a facility for..... Scunthorpe! He'd be declared in two teams at once, yeah right! It's Scunthorpe pulling a fast one.
  17. If Chris Harris thinks a track is bad and unraceable then it is. I've seen him race around in tracks with puddles in them.
  18. Poole have been breaking rules like this since Matt Ford took over!
  19. As Jacks average is 2.00 Sheffield will probably use no facility, which entitles them to use the same riders as if they had a facility. That allows Jack to continue riding for Birmingham.
  20. So Auty retires, Scunthorpe get a facility for withholding services. Auty is allowed to return before the 28 day ban is up. Do there you go folks, if a rider fancies a week off, just say he's retired.
  21. As someone who tries to keep track of stats using a computer and database Im in awe of anyone who did it in the days before computer. Clearly a dedicated gyy
  22. Hancock? You assume he'd turn up. He only cares about himself. Yeah, I was surprised Australia picked Holder too.
  23. Are speedway fans really suggesting that speedway should become a 9 heat sport? Christ, 12 was bad, 10 is terrible. Why not just run a dozen one lap heats and be done with it?!
  24. Ive said for a long time, the rules dont matter. Its the actual running of a meeting that needs sorting. Decent presentation, over in 90 minutes.
