  1. This team won't be allowed. As pointed out, Gappmier will be given the higher of his averages, so 6.5 and not 4.
  2. Fancy that! Someone, cant think who 😙 Suggested it would be 1.25 before the season started.
  3. Just read about this. Sounds terrible. Hoping for a speedy recovery from some very nasty injuries.
  4. How pleasing is it to see there high scoring 15 year olds in the NL at present? Jordan Jenkins, Kyle Bickley and Tom Brennan. All three appear to be scoring points for fun, let's hope it continues.
  5. Bridger is the twitests of twits but when he's riding well he's great to watch. And on a sub 5 point average he's only going to improve. A bad Bridger is better than a good Graversen, even if dropping Graversen is harsh.
  6. Would you really drop Starke? Surely it's Graversen you drop allowing Starke to drop to reserve where he should pick up. Graversen is as good as he's ever gong to get right now. Starke and Tungate in reserve with a 5-6 pointer at number 2 or 4 replacing Graversen would be pretty tidy. Lewis Bridger wouldn't be a bad signing at all if it's true that Championship riders will have their averages divided by 1.4 when changing leagues.
  7. I don't know that but would be odd of him to have taken the opportunity last season but turn it down this season.
  8. Who the hell picked out three? Cool has to be there in form. King as British Champion I guess but Harris? Where's Lambert? 🤔
  9. Ok then, so now flip the question. What is to stop a Premiership team signing Championship riders on lower averages then? As 1.4 is wrong. It shouldBe 1.25. They've just moved the issue from the Championship to the Premiership. Lewis Bridger on 4.7?! Hahaha Because one league has a 40 point limit and the other 50. The conversion rate should be 50/40 or 1.25
  10. Fair play Wolves won but the sport is a joke that fixtures are planned so badly. I've stated before I have 75% of the code that could arrange fixtures with the minimum of clashes. It can be done. Something needs sorting ASAP. Why at Lynn at Somerset twice when they're without Holder? Why weren't Lynn at Somerset tonight?
  11. Counts until the first set of averages. So Redcar have a few days.
  12. Youre right, Redcar have 3.61. Ayres average with a 2.5% reduction is 3.61. Get him in now! If he doesn't do much in his first few meeting when Busch is back Garcia would probably be able to replace him on his new average. I said at the start of the year Redcar were my dark horses. Get Ayres in and I don't think they could be dark horses any more as everyone would start to take them as a genuine threat to the title.
  13. His average will be sub-4 after a meeting too. Sarj and Carr in reserve using up less than 8 points would be handy.
  14. This. Many times over. Probably aid exactly what I think in a lot less words than I could. Got to respect the bloke for always building a decent team.
  15. Hes a rubbish manager. Did nothing of nor at Coventry except comment that he thought Poole would go unbeaten for the rest of the season the week before we raced them home and away. Managed to mess up getting Garrity in reserve last season and generally was incompetent.
  16. It wouldn't be too difficult to do in theory. I agree it's got its hurdles but sign two of Harris, Kennett and Nicholls plus Gomolski, Allen, Porsing and Tungate. All on low average that would only go one way.
  17. You can cancel Sky Sports ate any time with 30 days notice even if you're within your contracted period. Do that and you can switch to BT Sport then if that's your preference. Your contract is for the base package, everything else is just a rolling 30 day contract.
  18. Why was it last minute though? I a lowly "keyboard warrior" posted on this very forum over 24 hours before the meeting as soon as I saw the line up that he was an illegal guest. It's ok the clubs complaining its "amateur" but they ARE the BSPA and they ARE the ones making the amateur decisions.
  19. I know there are rules and some of them for very good season but we have a young, talented BRITISH rider who is struggling at the moment. He needs some much needed confidence. It's not like Birmingham are pulling a fast one, Liam's NL average is lower than Danyons and this seasons Liams Championship average is significantly lower than Danyons. In theory this move weakens Birmingham so they lose out. For once let's just see it that a team is trying to sign a rider rather than use r/r all year and in doing so are helping a struggling kid out. The rule is so badly worded that it could be legal or illegal however oi chose to read it but as only good can come from this let's just say it legal.
  20. No doubt they'll come up with another new cludge that'll be so full of holes it achieves nothing.
  21. ... a Championship team from signing 7 riders from Premiership teams once they get new averages? They'll have lower averages relatively speaking because of the harder league but it seems there is no conversion between the leagues. Seems like madness to me.
  22. Are people really suggesting Woffy isn't entertaining? Of track he's a petulant little twit. But being double World Champion at the age of 26(?) give him that right to some extent. Is he had some better PR skills I'm fairly certain that most wouldn't mind he didn't ride int he British League too much, he'd be the darling of the British fans and people would understand why he didn't ride in GB. the PR side of things it the only chink in Woffys armour IMO.
  23. The average speedway fan wouldn't know culture if it hit them i the face. Over and over. Very hard.
  24. Im sure starman agree with me that KK should stay. No reason to get rid of him. Middlo is the best in the business, he can get the best out of any rider, right?
  25. I don't think anyone fears Hans any more. OK if he gates but he's not barging anyone out of the way these days. And TBH neither is Nicki.
