What an odd result! In he winter I questioned the Glasgow team building as it left the team a bit flakey. So far I've not felt I was wrong. Said all along that the top 3 were good but if one of the bottom 4 didn't turn up they'd be in trouble - the Workington meeting proving my point. So I honestly thought the rampaging Monarchs would be too much for Glasgow. The Monarchs top two were going to be a little too much for Glasgows too 3 while the bottom 4 (excl Clegg) would be a bit too much for Glasgows bottom 4. But fair play the Glasgow lower order turned up. I still think Glasgow are going to have more tough meetings but if they can eek out the 46-44s in them meetings I'm sure all will be well in Glasgow.

Plenty have had their average reassessed. Probably the most popular one was Joe Screen at Poole in 2009. But it's happened plenty of times but most teams have known this so haven't tried to redeclare. Coventry were stopped a few years back too. We introduced Nichols, he rode against Ipswich and the BSPA removed his points. Frampton had missed a meeting riding for Newport. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/speedway/buildbase-bees-battling-rulebook-row-3080905.amp

Berwick V Ipswich Championship 29/4/17
SCB replied to allthegearbutnaeidea's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Well that worked. Gary Havelock - speedway genius. -
Nobody has shown me up. Bjerre is better than Auty. Bjerre is better than Sedgmen.
-
Anyone with half a brain knows this. Apart from last season when he come back from a broken thigh Bjerre has averaged more than Auty for the last 5 years. Bjerre will average over a point more than Auty.

£50 in the PL? 15 years ago the top PL boys were on £100 a point and fairly recently one NL club was paying £50 a point.

Just typical of the rubbish was that British Speeedway is run!

Good luck with that. Cradleys top 3 are not eligible.Nor are Lakesides top 3. I'd just use R/R and let him suck up the 28 day ban. -

No he hasn't. He's dropped it. If you want to use a factor it's 7.8/50 x42 = 6.55. So 5.65 is nearly a point dropped. -

Wolves always start on time and finish at a reasonable time. The place is actually run well and it's. Or surprise they are one of the most stable and well supported teams in British Speedway. -

TBF, he rode what? 3 seasons in Britain 20 years ago? It's also not the BSPAs place to be commenting on a riders injuries. -

Hes not doing fine. A 5.65 average is not fine for a rider signing on 7.7. Other riders in other teams doing that are getting stick for their form. -
Because Swindon get something like 48 hours to appeal the Somerset line up. That would be 24 before the meeting. Then the BSPA will need time to get together to agree what is right/wrong. I'm really not seeing the issue here. Just a few Poole fans who are shocked that a team have not been allowed to cheat. I guess it's a new one to them after all their stunts over the years.

Horton is shocked that nobody has offered to buy the club. Maybe because there currently is no club to buy

Real Progress Or Slipping Standards?
SCB replied to Ommer Mon's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I think it's somewhere between the two. We have a few "kids" making real progress at the moment but for years we really lacked anything. Between Loram (who only ever really had 2 or 3 good years) and Woffinden we really had a glut of riders. Nichols and Harris were it. -
Gary Havelock showing all his Speedway knowledge again. In all his time at Coventry we only did anything because we got Garrity in reserve due to the draft. And he even managed to mess that up in 2016. The guy is clueless. He could ride a bike with he rest of them but put him the other side of the fence and frankly you may as well have a chimp doing the job.

Imagine it. "We have this this thing called a TR. it's a bloody joke. And don't get me started on guests. And the points limit, well...". Would put potential fans off for life.

It was decided at about 2.30 in the afternoon. Weird how I knew at about 3.30 but nobody thought to tell Brady

4 EL meeting and Lasse Bjerre has an 7.6 point average in 2017. Sedgmen has 5.65 from 7 meetings. While Palm Toft is having a great season and outscored Sedgmen last night at BV. -

8 from 5 means he didn't even get his average, at home. Palm Toft or Lasse Bjerre That equated to a 6.4 average. Not great from a nearly 8 pointer who isn't even averaging 6 for the whole season. -

Im not a troll. You're trolling. You were wrong and still continued to argue. You're just continuing to prove the point that you're stupid now.
