  1. You say ignore heat to heads but you dont even know what the head to heads are. If they were offering Harris vs Schramm you'd be a moron to ignore it. surely a head to head is better to bet than to bet on the winner as the winner is a one off race. Id prefer to bet when I know everyone has 5 races to cancel out any luck than bet on a one of race.
  2. Everyone is going to get 5 rides and meet everyone once. Are you saying if you saw Chris Harris vs Chris Schramm at evens you'd ignore it? Because frnakly Id snap it up, Harris could get injured in his 2nd ride and would probably still win that one!
  3. I thought Edbergs biggest problem at Berwick was the track? Maybe a small home track where gating is the name of the game might work for him? That said, is signing a fragile rider really the answer when you're trying to strengthen up?
  4. £1 e/w on Olly Allen @150/1. Never going to happen but if enough rider pull out he could get a bit lucky!
  5. He's a funny rider Morten, I saw he'd be passed in heat 3 and thought, "thats it then, Mortens heads going to drop now" but he's gone unbeaten since.
  6. Maybe it's that and I read it as being for a month. Ill be honest I cannot remember where I saw it was only for a month and I'm doubting it now.
  7. Wasnt it said he was only in for a month? Or have i made that up, may have been twitter where I read it.
  8. Pragues a great city, plenty to see and do. As for the stadium/GP itself. It'll rain either just before the GP or during it, it's some sort of Czech GP law There is one pub outside the stadium(Na hvězdě), it looks like a hellish place on the outside (mind you, so does most of the area around the stadium) but it serves a reasonaly priced pint and its where people who want a drink gather pre-meeting. That said a pint in the stadium always used to cost less than outside! Stay in the centre of Prague as late as you can would be my suggestion and then squash on a 22 tram to the stadium with loads of other speedway fans. As for coming back, get on the 22 tram going the wrong way (so heading to Bila Hora), it goes up one stop turns around and comes back to the stadium and takes about 5 minutes, the alternative is to queue for 45 minutes and not get a seat
  9. I dont see how the reserves scores can possible count. If I was Lahti/Finland and Bjerre/Denmark Id be arguing this one. If it's allowed it make the sport a bigger farce than before - well, actually, KK won the U21 title by wining a coin toss, so maybe not.
  10. The number 8 could have replaced the missing Nelson as a junior/3 point rider.
  11. Berwick fixtures take priority, PL always does (Why does PL take priority over NL and EL? Either riders double up or double down, why does PL get bets of both?) but I believe Berwick only have about half a dozen meetings during the time Ed has signed for and there are no Berwick/Swindon clashes.
  12. All that excitement and they didnt even give him a heat 15
  13. Curfews are civil law and not criminal law so they police won't care. I have been at a few meeting at Newport and Coventry over the years where I wished there was a curfew!
  14. Are people really suggesting Kennett? Honestly Have any of you ever seen him against top riders? Look at his SWC and GP record,, look at what eh has done (or not done!) in Sweden and Poland. Look at his record in heat 15 in the EL. Ed Kennett is not the answer, especially as we're writing off this season and building. Go with Woffy as the experienced rider then go with Cook (althougth oldish, he's improving at an impressive late and is a late starter), Worrall and what the hell, Garrity.
  15. Surely if Ashworth and Kennett dont count then Berwicks top 2 or 3's combined average is likely to fall below Newcastle and Rye Houses so one of them now moved into the meeting?
  16. If Kennett doesnt count then Stead and Proctor cannot count as they dont have PL averages either. The BSPA will make a decision based no who they like most.
  17. And interval should be 5 minutes to allow staff to run off for a wee and get back again. Speedway crowds are not big enough for there to be a queue at the toilets during the interval that we need the 20-30 minutes some tracks have.
  18. I love Billy but is this track is anything over 330 metres, I wouldn't expect much from him Will he ride at Kings Lynn if they make it though? I hope so
  19. Kennett is averaging over 9 in the EL with bonus points, he's a stupid (in a good way) PL signing! I can only assume that Ricky is going to be out for a while though.
  20. I can only imagine it's great fun The emails I get and the head aches they cause for speedway-stats.co.uk is immense, heaven help anyone trying to keep the BSAP data correct
  21. Obviously people have accepted he's an Aussie. The only time I've had a real problem with the GB/Aus thing was after his little strop on having to ride in the British semi-Final (and failing to make the top 8) and him saying he'd become an Australian if he had to. otherwise Ive always thought some of the critisism is a little unfair even if he hasn't always helped himself.
  22. Since when did 28 days in speedway means 28 days to the rest of us? A season long deal can be ended on a whim by a promoter and Adrian Miedzinskis deal at Poole last season was extended to get him an average.
  23. It's so people can avoid what I bet on! Stand a good chance of winning that way
