I wouldnt say it was dirty. He should have bene excluded and the tace re-run though, Hans was impeded badly, had he gone down he'd have got a re-run!
-
try this You have to write the riders names in by hand as I was too lazy to find the line up and type them in. It should be right, I ahve used the template from world.speedway.org and just changed it around. You wil also have to change the printer setting from portrait to landscape.

Just Who Are The Top 15 In The World?
SCB replied to GSC_1's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
LOL. The only one who I think can claim to be consistently better than Bomber is Rory Schlein, as I think for the whole time they have ode togetehr at Coventry, rory has always just had the edge average wise. But Jensen? 7 point rider, no where near GP level Kolodziej? See Jensen. Give him a couple of years. Stead? Not quite Ulamek? Not quite, nearly Kasprzak? See Kolodziej. A top 15 could change daily and on any given track/type of track. If all tracks were pilled high with dirt and difficult to ride then Chris Harris would be in the top 10, makwe the tracks slick and passing impossible and Bomber would struggle to make top 30! -

You're going to a speedway meeting, not a pop concert, if you want to see a pop concert, then pay the going rate to see one!!! TBH, I don't know why they bother witha live act, they'd be better of playing some decent recorded music (thats all they did for Suzi Quattro anyway!) -

Scott Nicholls In The Gps

Just get along to the POW in Cardiff from about mid-day of GP day. Often 30+ of us there having a laugh and a drink. After a while you'll meet loads of people form here, I realised tonight I have met over 200 people from this forum. -
and we thought the tactical ride was crap!!! At leats we don't allow teams to replace a bad rider with a better one and get double points!! What a joke!
-
If you really want a name, Tim Sugar, if you want another Colin Pratt who has won2 national titles in the last 2 seasons and unlike Middlo, he also picks the team. Did you try hard to ignore everything I had posted and just reply to it randomly? Because you did a bloody good job of asking me questions I had already answered!! Jokers and tac subs. Reserves this year too. Lee Richardson for a joker ride last year? Keeping Louis in his heta when he was off gate 3, by far the best despite having the use of a tac sub. Shocking! Thatw as just last season. I wo't condemn him for Steads performance as most people wold have used him but why bring in Louis? After all Middlos crap about youngsters shoudl be moving up, give them a chance blah blah blah and he goes and drops Stead from the team!! He's a walking contradiction. As I have point out, I don't dislike Middlo, I just don't believe he is the best man for the job, he makes howlers with the jokers and tac subs every year, now compare to say Neil Street who was always spot on with his tactics (when he was ever in a position to use them), he was replaced recently becaquse they realised he was not the best option available any more!
-
I don't dislike Middlo, I just think there's better options (named them loads of times, look back). Liking someone does not make them good or disliking someone make them bad, I don't liek Nicki Pedersen, he's still a good rider, I like Craig Watson but he's never going to eb World Champion, he'll probably never ride in a GP but so what? Lkeing/not liking someone does not cloud my judgement when I asses how good/bad they are, at least I hope it doesnt. How often has Middlo messed up th tactics at the SWC? Probably every year, thats not good enough really, you can accept a mistake every few years but at the highest level you need someone who doesn't get it wrong.
-
I mean not Middlo!
-
Even Mark Loram a rider who has probably never managed before? By all means have him in the pits for his knowledge and experience but Team GB need someone who is tactically astute. The Aussies always have half of Australia in the pits, there nothing to stop Team GB doing that with Loram, Havvy, Floppy and even some of the lower order Brits helping out. Doesn't make them all team mangers though.

You don't know what you're letting yourself in for! You'll either leave having made load of friends or you'll be saking and sweating and trying to escape.

Something BSI should consider for Germany and Cardiff where they'll have loads of seats is selling them cheap to the locals. BSI know now they will have 20,000 spare seats at Cardiff, they should send letters to every home within a 10-20 mile radius of Cardiff offering cheap tickets, £5-10 each. They just need to see proof that the person buying the tickets (and entering the stadium with the ticket) actually lives at the house the offer was sent to, just a utility bill and a passport/driving licence/other photo ID. That way the stadium is full so looks good for sponsors, TV etc, them local hopefully get hooked and go to more GP's including next years staging at the full price. BSI don't lose out as them seats woudl be empty anyway and while undoubtly some speedway fans would save (a lot of Newport Speedway fans for example) but it shuold be more than cancelled out by all the extras. Plus if they don't send the offer letter out until May time, most speedwya fans have their tickets anyway.

6 Riders In The Swc Teams
SCB replied to treborbee's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
What average? Swedish league? Polish league? British league? German league? What if the rider doesn't ride in any of them leagues? -
What did Hans have to gain going guns blazing and winning the last few GPs? Nothing, so why give it so much when you have proved your point. Now he knows he can be World Champion, he can win GPs and expect him to do well this season. Hans vs Crumpy with Crumpy just sneaking it IMO. Despite the fact I'm a Bomber fan, I can't see him avoiding the bottom 3, he might make a semi final this season, but that will be seen as a highlight at the end of the year. one thing you can guarentee is no matter how bad it's going he'll keep trying, plugging away and entertining us.

I see Troy is getting some stick for his tantrum. Amazingly people complain else where on this forum we have lost the charactors and speedway is too sanitised, yet when someone shows a bit of passion he is complained about. Give me a moaning, complaining, pasionate rider over a boring "credit to the sport" like Leigh Adams! -
This is what gets to me about the whole dream team thing. When we tried to send a fw Brits over the the USA a few yearas ago it was all rushed at the last minutes and money could not be raised, yet they're expecting British companies to pay for the Americans to come over. Why don't said companies (and the people who buy the merchandise) spend that cash on British riders. If they really want to show how good they are why not ride against PL teams, after all, any of them coming over here woudl have to ride as PL heatleaders anyway, so if they're not good enough to ride against PL teams, why bother? No I don't agree with the Dream Team. No I won't be going to watch them. Yes this will be my last post ont he subject as I know I'll get a lot of stick for daring to speak up against the darlings who seem to be loved on this forum.
