  1. So he's not good enough for the GP qualifier by his own admission, he should be told he's not good enough for the SWC either!!
  2. Poor silver bee probably doesn't even know what you are suggesting, I do however! So just you wait, I have 2 weeks to think up and evil plan (currently thinking of making silver bee kiss you!) See above, I'm told it's a good bar with some lovely guys in there.
  3. Not really. But as the tickets have now been printed, all the spares will be adult tickets, so even if you buy a child ticket, they will actually give you an adult ticket Or they have in the past.
  4. Fantastic idea. I posted something similar on this forum a few years ago and it got a mention in the King's Lynn programme
  5. Thats, "No ferry. Will be trains and planes though".
  6. We'll be there on the Thursday, so you're following us No ferry, trains and planes though
  7. So you mean I'm going all the way to Germany and you're following me? We're staying in Essen too.
  8. Makes sense if you find shortoi and buy a family ticket, tha way you'll get 4 tickets for £60!
  9. There are a couple of choices, there's the stadium ticket office and Ticket Line which is conveniently situation between the stadium and Prince of Wales
  10. AFAIK, thats all thats available. Best person to ask is buzzy bee, she is the person who sells the riders merchadise at Coventry.
  11. Didn't you see the Cardiff GP last year? Bombers mad, he'll fly through them faster than anyone else!
  12. Remember people, you're going to a speedway meeting, not a pop concern! TBH, I couldn't care less who signing, I'll probably still be in the pub at 5.55!!
  13. I disagree, a few ruts and bumps that will make everyone else cautious will be exactly what Bomber wants! With any luck the white line will rut up so by the semi and the final people will have to move wide and Bomber will ride straight through them and past the others and take the win The last time I bet on Bomber he come 3rd, I've bet on him again, it's a good omen, I hope It is nice to see that us Brits finally have someone we believe can do well and so many have backed Bomber, it makes a refreshing change from the doom and gloom of the last few season
  14. You died a hero, you enriched so many lives of people you didn't even know in your short life, something many people will never be able to claim. RIP Kenny.
  15. I know this is the wrong section but I though if I posted it here, the people going to Cardiff and possibly intrested would be more likely to see it (but if a mod wants to put it in the pairs thread or else where they can). I've spoke to a few people who want to go to Somerset for the pairs but don't want to drive (unsuprisingly), so I thought I might look at the cost of a mini-bus if I can get enough people intrested. As yet I have no idea on costs as I want to be sure people will be intrested (obviously if the price is right) before I try and find out how much it will cost. I have about 5 or 6 people intrested in going (currently from Newport) so ideally we'd be looking at a minimum of 10 more people and the ideal senario is a pick up form Cardiff and Newport. So who's intrested and if I get a good enough response I'll get a price and get back to people.
  16. After thw GB Final and seeing Steady at Coventry last week, I'd agree! Though I would put Richardson as the reserve as he is a risk, he'll either be good or bad, if hes in reserve and things are looking bleak, then he's worth the risk. King has never done anything at Coventry, ever! and other than the Gb final is not really riding that well this season, unlike Kennett. It'll be fun anyway! For the first time ever Middlo has too many rider he can pick from and has good reason to pick from too!!
  17. Jonas D just proves the point!! Scott Nicholls is to Sweden/GB and Jonas is to GB/Sweden!!!
  18. Having checked, Scott first rode in the GP's as a regular in 2002. This is his 6th year, he's failed in all but 1 when he did finish 7th (his second season in the GPs!), he's failed ever since. The excuses are coming thick and fast now. Bikes, mentors, injury, anything but talent it seems. Is he really that great? Look at the Swedish and Polish averages and you'll see his GP level is justified!
  19. Why don't we now just accept Scotts not good enough. He's had about 7 years in the GP's and I don't thikn he's made the top 8 once yet.
  20. I did start a thread congratulating him, seems it was merged with this one which seems a bit unfair after Bomber got his own thread after the last GP.
