  1. So the Swedish and Polish leagues are weaker. So why the hell is Simon Sead rubbish in them then? Clearly not GP standard if he cannot score decent poitns in "weaker" leagues. How to defeat your own arguement by Drop A Cog!!
  2. I don't know. You asked the question. I thought you had some (flawed) pet theory.
  3. You win. There's no arguing with logic like this! Logically flawed and you're semantics when asking questions is quite clearly wrong too. So you then change the question, and change it and change it and you still don't get it right. ANDREAS JONSSON DOES NOT RIDE IN THE ELITE LEAGUE. HE HAS RODE IN THE ELITE LEAGUE.
  4. I agree. So as the top 8 in the GP's qualify, , they ned 7 more rider, so the top 7 in the GP qualifiers. amazingly, a certian Mr C. Harris managed to come 5th!!! Where was Simon Stead? About 11th I believe!
  5. Maybe we should give Phil Morris a Gp place. Froget current form and past results, we just don't know what he might do until we give him a chance!! You have to use something to work out who to use, so why not current form (eg, this years averages)? Or do you suggest picking on looks? Age? Shoe size?
  6. No, so it's a godo job it's not last year! What has last year got to do with next years GP series? Tho I agree it'smore relevant than Egon Moller in 1983!!! You are not very good at this!!!! You asked what current GP top 8 rider RIDES in GB. Well Andreas does not RIDE in GB, he RODE in GB. Harris or Stead? Harris for me. EL averages are now Stead 8.13, Harris 7.90. Getting closer!!
  7. We apreciate the thought!! Who else can we send to North America?!
  8. I doubt thats much use to you!! As we're talking about speedway here, we do not have the 2007 fixture or price lists yet. However, I will tell you what I expect. Coldra to the train station, you really could not be much further from the station and still be in Newport if you tried. Maybe 5 miles. Train is about £3.80 return I think. Last train back is straight after the GP, so no time to got for a drink in Cardiff, you'll have to get the train back to Newport and go out in Newport (pubs and clubs right opposite the station). Cost to get in on the Sunday is usually £1 more than the usual cost, no doubt next year will be £13 for a normal meeting, so £14 the day after the GP for the Welsh Open. the Friday meetigns are nrmally a 7pm start and the Sunday meetings a 1pm start. You didn't ask but I'd guess the Holiday Inn is about 1.5-2 miles from the speedway.
  9. Yet Lindback and Zagar lose out! Why not the all Swedish EL teams numbers 1? Polsih teams? Why stop there, Danish, German and Russian teams number 1's too! You can't beat the good old qualification rounds. Why not run them on the same day as the GP's? That way there's less clashes with league dates as them days are already not usable. The day of the last GP, is the last but one round, where the top 4 from each meeting meet the bottom 7 in the GP in the final round to qualify for the following season GP. The last rider either be the 5th placed rider from one of the rounds, or the best wildcard/reserve from the GP series (so this year it would be Hans)
  10. If you want gutless, look at Britains 2nd best GP rider. I've stuck up for him time and time again, I'll even admit to liking him but tonight, I was ashamed to be a Lee Richardson fan, ashamed to even be British when he went out on track. He rode like, I don't know!! I was going to say a CL rider but they'll ride on anything! He needs to sort himself out, quickly!
  11. Made me laugh when he said, "I'm lossing my voice", it raised a cheer in my house!
  12. and whats to say Greg would not have reeled in Antonio in as he did in the re-run? As it was, Antonio made the gate and had the race sorted until he drifted wide on the 2nd bend and Greg Hancock pounced!! You don't give a rider like Greg and inch let alone 6 foot!! Stunnig perfomance by Antonio too and TBF, he was the best rider on the night but Greg has IMO deserved a win all year and I doubt anyone would begrudge him this win, Antonio certainly didn't, he seemed to find it slightly amussing to his credit.
  13. A great ride and a great victory for a truely deserving rider!
  14. Who says Crumpy cannot team ride I called that before it happeend too
  15. What utter tripe!! It's not helped by Sky dragging it out. It's pre-recorded so why don't they just rush it along to keep us slightly intrested!! It's not as if we need to listen to Chris Louis pearls of wisdom! Lee Richardson, sort you self out man!!! You're better than this!
  16. Ashfield Giants (did glagsow not have a CL team called that about 5 years ago?) Welsh Western Warriors M4 Raven/Sprockets Reading Ravens Swindon Sprockets Anglian Angels Eastbourne Dons Newcastle Gems
  17. It was from the window of our apartment I should lie and say I'd climbed up a lamp post
  18. A few of them look good in B&W! Prague is so easy to get good photos, doesn't matter how good the photographer or the camera are!
  19. So answer this. This season Jason Crump has strolled his way to a World Title. Is that because the field is so poor his title is barely worth having and he'd have not won it any other year OR he is so bllody good eh has made some damn fine riders look bad and his World Title is even more impressive due to his massive win? You say Loram would not have won a World Final, would Szachieal or Muller won a GP series? Any reaosnbaly good rider could have a one off great meeting but it take an excellent rider to string together 5-10 good GP's IMO. I can see the pro's and cons of both, I guess a one off winner probably had to have greater mental strength for a start, nerves were not an option!
  20. I'll third it! While I'm at it, I'd like to thank F4E and the rest of the fairies for allowing me to stay with them while in Prague, so Thank you
  21. Well some of us had money on Richardson and Pedersen, oh how embarrasing!! (who was it who told me Bjarne looked good in practice?!). I did however have money on Hans meaning I have successfully picked 3 of the GP winners this year! Hans x2 and AJ.
  22. I didn't bother taking the camera to the speedway. Would have only got in the way and I don't need photos of speedway, I have loads of them, plus I have the meeting on DVD anyway Plus trams are far more fascinating!
  23. Doesnt Nikki have Bob from the tram? (or just look for a picture of Nicki Pedersen!!) Oh dear!
  24. And they all told me it was not funny I knew they told lies
