  1. So when you can't sack a rider due to his assessed average what do you do? Abuse him and call him crap so he quits! http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/speedway/jye-etheridge-worst-ever-but-monarchs-stall-on-wielding-axe-1-4141795
  2. Today marks the 1st anniversary of Wolves 53-37 loss at Leicester, you know the one? The one where Wolves reserve guest Jason Garrity replaced Freddie Lindgren in his last ride :D How embarrassing?!
  3. Its a bit of harmless fun with a hint of rubbish stiring. Offensive? No way. Childish and pathetic? Yeah, probably. I've more respect for those who stated it was stupid than those saying it was offensive.
  4. So to confirm you think he was either excluded for breaking the tapes with his helmet or moving before the tapes went up by the referee? So you agree the referee was wrong. As you saw on Sky last week of your excluded for moving then you're kicked out the race with no reserve change and no 15 metre exclusion or as the referee had already asked for it to be announced touching tapes with your helmet is not an excludable offence. So somewhere, the referee for it wrong. The tea comments was you stated he broke the tapes. So what? It doesn't matter, the rules don't mention breaking them just touching them so heat 4 was exactly the same as heat 2 - both times Steve touched the tapes with his helmet and both times there should have been a re-run OR the referee if he was feeling rather harsh could have excluded him for moving before the tapes went up and no replacement allowed but that's would be harsh as referees always give riders a chance (and generally a warning but they don't have to give a warning)
  5. I walked in with my printed off ticket in seconds and nobody checked my bag! I'd also like to fact the local who let me park in front of his driveway. Friendly folk up north
  6. Hed have been so embarrassed by that heat 13 effort to lose to Batch he'd have retired! Anyone who saw his heat 13 this afternoon would agree it was out of this world! 4th to 2nd and then sat and covered his struggling team mate. What did Freddie do when he was at the back? Nothing!
  7. He may have been excluded for moving before the tapes went up by but he was given no warning! It's still inconsistent, if heat 2 was acceptable (and Sarj in heat 9) then what Garrity and Worrall did in heats 4 and 5 was acceptable. Is it really too much to ask for consistency from referees? As it was both teams got away with a flier, both teams got pulled back and it was all pretty even by thats doesn't mean the referee was right!
  8. Id like to think I'm big enough to admit when I'm wrong. And when it's a young British rider doing well and making me wrong I love it!
  9. Well done. 10/10 for observation. It's about as relevant to my post as what you had for tea.
  10. A few more observations in addition to the above. Kacper Woryna, what a brave young man to even turn up and ride and I don't think a single person would have blamed him if he'd taken a few weeks off. Ash Morris, in the past I've said he's a bit of a crap kerb crawler but I wasnhugely impressed today. Rode with 100% effort and made a right nuisance of himself. I'd happily watch him in a Bees jacket again soon. Scored 2+1 more than I expected and be no doubt hat had his bike lasted the 4 laps in heat 14 he'd have got another point. The referee was rubbish. Called Garrity back for jumping, didn't call Sarj back for jumping, yet with Worrall didn't call one back and incorrectly excluded him in another! And how exciting was Richie Worrall?!
  11. After touching the tapes he dropped 2 points and he was leading one of them until the referee called it back - from memory the only heat he did call back for a jumped start. As a Bees fans I was more than happy with his contribution today. And I also don't really expect him to be in contention for the SWC team either. More worryingly was Harris and how truly abysmal he was until KK babysat him in heat 13
  12. Other than the ticketing issues mentioned above that was brilliant speedway in a smashing stadium.
  13. Rules say replaced by another eligible rider. Not reserves and not 15 metres.
  14. Why would I get a ban? I've not said anything. Christ I've compared the guy to Hancock and Gollob!
  15. Youre making things up now. The rules state that a #8 can replace any 1-5 rider. The rules also state that any rides as a #8 do not count for averages. You're also wrong about assessed riders in reserve, no such rule exists and as proof of it, check out the Coventry line up (pay close attention to the guy riding at number 6) from their last two meetings. Kings Lynn are making up rules!
  16. For someone who had a go at me earlier and used a dead man to get a dig in (incorrectly), you're taking an awful lot of pleasure out of a guy scoring 4 points on the day he had attended the funeral of a family member.
  17. Oh heck. Hadn't realised. Thats a killer for Leicester then.
  18. As if I'd do anything he told me to do I'm just curious as to how exciting or boring people find the lovely Richie Worrall.
  19. I posted it before the news come through. So get off your high horse.
  20. On a scale of 1-10. 1 being Greg Hancock and 10 being Gollob his brilliant best
  21. KK is so rubbish that of all riders who have ridden at heat leader in 2016 (and using heat leader meetings only) he is 4th in the averages behind Doyle, Puk and AJ. Freddie's meetings as heat leader are lower than KKs But it's ok, Stevebrum thinks he's rubbish. Which makes you wonder what he thinks about the other 94% of the EL that can't achieve that. Tell you what's embarrassing, arguing that a guy who is 4th in he EL heat leader averages is embarrassing hahaha
