  1. I think he will, he wants it, thats half the battle, he as also the advantage of already ridden most of the PL tracks
  2. For me I think Alden, Melgren and T.J. will increase their average, Doolan, Pjiper and Whethers might hold their average, but are likely to drop slightly, As for Liam he is in a protected position at No 7 and is in the top 4 No 7s ( Whethers at no6 is also in a protected position) These 2 riders will not ride against the top 2 riders, so trying to work out a proper average is almost immpossible.
  3. Bloo*y cowering in the corner you mean, as i said brave man, needs medal.
  4. I admire you, what a very, very brave man you are
  5. Think I will keep my stalker, at my age you need every boost you can get,
  6. I like the look of Newcastle myself, I think Sheffields bottom 3 are very weak. P/boro is the team in depth that stand out for me
  7. I am a lucky guy, I have a stalker, but she has a nice pair of boobs and a lovely ar*e, I don't bloo*y mind a bit
  8. 1. Peeterborough 2. Newcastle 3. Plymouth 4. Edinburgh 5. Workington 6. Somerset 7. Glasgow 8. Sheffield 9. Berwick 10.Scunthorpe 11.Ipswich 12.Rye House 13.Redcar
  9. Have had riders who claim the poly foam fence stops them dead, and throws them forwards, but also the inflatable fence grabs their bars. Jury's out I suppose.
  10. Thanks for the link, of advertisment for both products. I am sure the manufacturer wants to sell the dearer product. The question was where is the study, as to is one better than the other. I like the polyfoam fence we have at Berwick, however most international meetings including the GPs a run using inflateable safety barriers. Both safety fences have their fors and againsts, it is a matter of choice, and of course price.
  11. A bold statement, would you care to print that acknowledgement and it's sources. I only know of 2 clubs using a foam fence Berwick and Kings Lynn, there maybe others, but most us an air-fence. i know of no study as to whether one is better than the other.
  12. Cannot share your over optimism, when you look above at what is realistic, it often leads to a fall. However the team has a very solid look about it, and can go either way, a lot of good points and a lot of if's also. In my humble opinion, TJ, Anders and Seb have potential to increase their averages in the main body of the tream, Kev and Theo will do a good job but may drop their average slightly. but it could easily go the other way. At the bottom end Liam is in the top four at the No 7 position, he has an advantage of most of the other No 7s in that he has ridden most PL tracks, whether he increases his average is open to debate, but again he has the potential to do so. Same goes for Matty at No6, his average has dropped every year for 4 years, he has taken a lot of knocks in that last 2 seasons, could this be his season to prove something, or is he where he is, only time will tell. Most folk have put Berwick, Scunthorpe and Redcar at the bottom of the table, I probably agree in Redcars case. I think both Berwick and Scunthorpe will be mid league, but with a lot of luck both teams could reach a bit higher.
  13. Think you means David Cameron , he's the biggest bender I am aware of
  14. Up to your team manager, sometimes your best 2 riders don't ride well together
  15. Highest ave at No1, No 6 & No7 at res.positions. the other 4 can be put in in any order for 2/3/4/&5
  16. Sponsoring a rider is really just for personal pleasure, never got anything out of it financially. In truth if I had spent on riders over the years I could have a really tidy motor sitting on my driveway. As for seeing Taffys Time Machine on a bike on Sky, I cannot see someone seeing it and will pop up to Berwick to have a battery fitted, but i live in hope. However I have got quite a lot of Oakley sales via individual riders reccomending me for theie eyewear. on the other discussion, UK borrowed more money in the last 4 years, than under the Blair /Brown period. So it looks like the mess will continue. The big boys will get richer, and the hard working Brit will be much poorer. No, did it to assist in having a decent talk in, something that does not often happen enough.in my humble opinion, especially in an open and unfettered way.
  17. Simple, if the rider cannot reach his potential through lack of investment, and does not perform the level expected by the club, it is the club that suffers in the long term, usually by declining crowds because of an under performing team.. It is unlikely that any sponsor of the club will derive any major benefit, unless they are a national company and can get on the TV. On Osbourne you are probably right, worth noting that the UK has only been in surplus eight times in 200 years.
  18. They intimated that while in, it will be very difficult in this financial climate. Everyone including myself will tighten their belts over the next 4 years, trying to survive the Osbourne onslaught.
