Ok, so 'Drivel' was a little harsh, but I'll stick by 'Presumptive', as you admit that you formed your opinion purely from what you had seen on TV, therefore you presumed he is not an inspirational manager. BTW to answer you question, Garry is a lovely guy........but I won't presume that you knew exactly which part of your posting I was referring to originally Also glad to hear that you're a supporter too -

You clearly don't know Garry very well to make a statement like that...............next time make the effort to find out before posting presumptive drivel -

Why should they, if you can't be bothered to look properly before posting................it's a very simple process that shouldn't tax anyone unduly. It can be found on the BSPA site, and on the Rebels website, in the sections where you would normally expect find news items.........here's a big clue for you.....(BSPA Site) Premier League/"LATEST NEWS" and (Rebels site) "NEWS"........in fact a quick trawl back through this very thread might have given you an insight, but maybe all the Christmas Turkey might still be having an effect. Glad I could be of help.......Happy New Year -

Don't worry Jon, you can take what Premier Rebel says with a pinch of salt.....................like most of his 'Info', he probably read it in the Beano.

If Statman doesn't know, then no one does..........by replying in that way you have just proved my point about posting from a position where you don't have knowledge of the situation, but choose to post regardless of the facts. From your posts on here, I thought you were better than that, but what do I know?

Where do you get that from, what total and utter rubbish you're spouting, and not for the first time. The vast majority of Rebels fans on here have congratulated Scunthorpe on their victory, and the odd one or two Somerset 'Fans', and it is only one or two that have criticised the management for the use of Richard Hall, both in the match and in Heat 15, know absolutely nothing about the reasons for that, and rather than find out first, choose to have a go from a distance. Some of them are not even true Rebels fans, but followers of other teams, who choose to comment as if they were. There are also several posters on here who should know better, but have their own agendas, who couldn't wait to jump on and add their 'twopenneth worth' of nonsense. None of those who have posted know how much time various members of the management team spent on the phone or just how many riders were contacted after Cookie withdrew on Saturday night, and Tom was injured before Friday. Instead they just shoot from the lip, without first even trying to find out what true suituation was. As for Richard Hall getting the ride in Heat 15, all I can say is that when you are in a situation where one of your riders may have to come from behind to score points at Scunthorpe, then there is no better man than Hall for the job. What Hall had scored before that heat is irrelevant, unless you take into account of how he reached that total, and as already stated, he blew a couple of engines last night, and one when in second place, which would have given him the same points as Claus and Wrighty, and therefore just as entitled to be in the heat as they were. Anyone who doubts his inclusion in the heat should seek out the video of the race, and then come back and criticise. From what I understand it was pretty desperate stuff at times, which prevented Richard scoring the point we needed. Before anyone asks, no I wasn't there, but I have taken the trouble to speak to people that were, and find out what happened and why, before I came on to post, but by that time all the commando's and troll's had already posted their nonsense. It's a pity either team had to lose in such a thrilling encounter, but someone had to, and this time is was the Rebels. You won't find any true Rebels fan that isn't proud of the way the team performed, they gave their all, and that goes to all riders who wore the colours this year, including those being unfairly bereated here. You did us proud !! Finally many congratulations to the Scunthorpe management, riders and fans on their superb victory, and producing two extremely tense and exciting matches that went to make up this final.

Assuming the Heat 11 finishing positions were the same, mathematically the tactical didn't make a great deal of differnce, in fact only 1-point in the scores at that point. I'll explain......Had the Rebels only taken a 4-2, in Heat 10, to prevent the use of the tactical, the score at the end of that heat would have been 34-26, and as I have said, assuming that the Scorpions filled the first two places in the next, then resulting 1-5 would have brought the scores to 35-31, a difference of 4-points as opposed to the 3-point lead in the actual match.
-
How can you say that? In the context of a match of this nature, where you are defending a lead, beating your opponents riders that amount of times is a big factor in the overall result. If you push Kyle down one place in each of those races, you get an 8-point turnaround in the result, and Ipswich would now be the League Cup winners..............so I would say that he had done a lot !! Under any circumstances 9+2 (one more point than Taylor Poole BTW) from a reserve in any match is a very important contribution

I wasn't there tonight unfortunately, so you guys are going to have to help me out here................did you both watch the same match, or have I missed something ? A big well done to everyone who wore the Rebels colours tonight, and also to those who weren't able to..................there are some out there who should remember that there was a whole season that went into this result, not just this one meeting !!
